    Ha!! A self breast exam is EXACTLY how I caught my hormone positive breast cancer! Know your bodies, ladies! I’m 35, pregnant, and just had a mastectomy. KNOW YOUR BODIES! ❤️❤️

    Always do self breast exams!
    I found my tumor when my mammograms were “normal.” In fact, my last mammogram, the breast that had the tumor in it they called normal, but they wanted to re-image my other breast to take another look. Turns out the breast they were “concerned” with didn’t have any cancer.

    Excellent info Dr. Amy thank you so much. I am a stage 3 HER 2+ breast cancer survivor...1 year cancer free. Trying to do everything I can to prevent recurrence and live the healthiest and best life possible. I am out for my daily walk/run of 4-5 miles 6 days a week. Mostly meat free diet (maybe organic chicken). Dairy free. Fiber is my friend 😁. Fruits and veggies, beans, legumes are essential to my daily diet. Occasional glass of wine on a special occasion but that's it. No processed meats except treating myself to bacon with French toast once in a while 😅

      Is it bad to eat eggs or low fat cheese such as cottage cheese? Why do you not prefer to eat dairy?

    • @oanairani41
      @oanairani41 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yogurt is the only dairy that is considered safe based on all studies available. It's actually good for your gut biom/ immune system. A little bit for breakfast, maybe a low fat Greek yogurt.

      See a holistic nutritionist. I treated my breast cancer holistically and I'm almost five years cancer free! I learned everyone's body is different. What's good for one is not necessarily good for another. Example: nuts and seeds are considered good for you. However, I learned through my holistic doctor that nuts and seeds are not good for those with cancer as they continue fungus' that encourage cancer growth making it hard to kill the cancer. There were only four nuts she allowed: almonds, walnuts, pecans and pistachios.
      A good holistic nutritionist can keep you cancer free!

    I don't have breasts anymore they found the lumps in a abnormal mammogram. I disagree with them about not giving yourselve a breast exam. Because I found my cyst in my left breast on my own. Thats true your not going to find the Cancer yourself. You still have to go in to the doctor to be sure it's not Cancer. Is what I did with my left breast. But this time it was Cancer in my right breast. So I got two mastectomies. Because I didn't want radiation done to me. And I didn't want to get Cancer in my left breast. It has been over 9 months since I had surgery.

    A wellness coach could put together a good exercise program for you. I have bad knees so I do exercises in the chair. Chair boxing is a good cardio exercise. Also light hand weights and gentle knee exercises, and stretching, all in the chair. I had no problem with tamoxifen
    and I hope you will do well with it.
    ManyBlessings to you.

    I have breast cancer. Not sure what stage till get pet and mri scan next week. I did have 2.8 cm ductual carsanoma, 2 lymph nodes cancer. I have ER&PR&HER&. I'm 66 years old, obese because my legs are really bad. Severe arthritis both knees and ankle, ulcers on both ankles partly healed, no minicus one knee , other severely torn miniscus and bad lymphademiaboth legs. I walk with canes, and walker. How do I exercise? How do I loose weight? I only eat once a day now. If I eat 2 times a day I gain weight. What can I eat, and how do I exercise to loose weight. I'm 250 lbs. I start chemo in Sept. I heard side effects of tamoxifen and others will be extremely bad. I'm taking soursop, muataki mushroom, shark cartlidge, zinc, C, green tea and D. I cant take anything else because it will increase estrogen levels. My cancer feed of estrogen.

    Most of these I wouldn't agree with, especially the mammogram! It didn't catch my breast cancer (June of 2019). Mid July, I told my surgical oncologist I had cancer! She didn't believe me and my symptom was an unknown to her and her staff. I had to advocate for myself instead of waiting for my MRI Dec of that year. By November of 2019, all testing and surgery was complete. Imagine had I waited like the doctor wanted me to! 😢 COVID hit and it very well could've spread into my lymph nodes and made things worse! I REJECTED ALL conventional treatments and treated my breast cancer holistically!

      How holistically? I was just Dx with IDC + DCIS stage 1 although all testing isn't back yet and aside from surgery, don't want chemo, radiation or drugs. Any info you can share?
