@@o.g.millennials I tried downloading it a few times via apk sites but they didn't work. Either way I don't think they would be good on a mobile. You really need a controller for that sort of game.
I can remember I use to play it at an arcade near my house as a kid. Im 31 now. It was a video store upstairs and had a few arcade cabinets. Years before it had more machines and a pool table or two.
There was this other video store near my house that had an even bigger arcade. Sadly because I never really got enough pocket money to justify playing over there I only went a few times.

Nice video man, I'm a huge Snk universe fan so I already knew all of this but I would love to see more of it in the future also going deeper like connecting Maximum Impact story with the main series (proof Hattori Hanzo still being in the present in Kof 13) or that adk produced games are now also part of the Kof story due to Dr Brown appearing in Kof13 story. Also I would like to know for myself if that rumor is true that the pilot from Prehistoric Island is Billy and Lily Kane's father.

Heidern's first appearance was in Chopper I, arcade, 1988. BTW, you forgot about P.O.W.
POW stars a different character called Snake, which AFAIK is entirely unrelated from the Ikari crew.
P.O.W. as a side scrolling beat'em up, not the characters.
That's exactly the one I meant. Admittedly, I'm basing this off my memories of the version that was ported to the PS3 several years ago.
I considered including P.O.W., but didn't feel it was very KoF relevant, and didn't want to dwell on beat 'em ups for long. I primarily mentioned The Ikari III rumor to debunk it, but you're right that Chopper I deserved a mention there.
Great video,... but surprised there was no mention of Yie-Ar Kung Fu.. a huge step in the evolution of fighting games. First game to have multiple colorful fighters and the first to have energy bars that count down to a KO.
