    My DAM just dropped to .06 after getting new motor mounts and pitch stop and refueling... Lots of troubleshooting to do right now.

    I literally had my resonator cut off and put a straight pipe and my damn dropped to the 8 as well smh. Man

    Never ever had any feed back knock in the 6 years of owning the car and this tune I have. But I seem to always get 5 times a year crazy fine knock learn during cruise and mashing the throttle ( cruise knock) and its always around 2k rpm to 2700 rpm lol. If I floor it I get nothing. But sometimes if don't drive a certain way and I get alot of fine knock learn it will make my dam go down to a 875. And I have to drive an hour at a certain speed to make it come back up. Its a little ridiculous but that's just me. I was getting shell gas which everyone says to go by and using octane booster even every month . But I have many issues on it and I've seen to not fine another person on the same issue as bad as mine. I contacted a well known tuner on this matter 2 years ago and ge says they will always knock nothing I can do about it 😆 well I'm not saying they are perfect and won't ever pick up some type of knock. But it's very odd I just get it during those rpms. As the higher I get in rpms it goes down or completely away . Like I've said never had any feed back knock on wot just this weird fkl crap . I'm on maperformance 93 stafe 1 and exhaust. I'm pretty simple . But I am in fl and it's hot right now. So who knows maybe it's the heat. / small heat soaked tmic with bad gas . I don't know . But good vid btw man ( I should state I get more fine knock learning more then 5 times a year. It's just 4 or 5 times a year I get it so random that I have to watch the way I drive or my dam will go down. But Iwould say my car is definitely running worse with the heat right now then it has in a while .

      Thanks for your comment! In regards to that knock you get with cruise control. My only thought is if you are mashing the throttle in a high gear like 5th or 6th depending on your trans at low RPMs you could be starving the motor that could possibly be causing it to lean out slightly and thats why you are getting that knock. That being said it is odd that you have FKL not FBK which means its something the ECU has learned. I typically only get some FKL when the seasons change (from -50 to +30c in the winter to summer) or with elavation changes if I take the car to the mountains. I wouldn't be too worried the cars will knock. Ideally you just dont want lots under high boost and at WOT.

    Just got the Cobb AP installed on my WRX and it shows DAM of 0.375/0.375. Time for some diagnostics I guess 🥵

    Mine just gave me a check engine code for EVAP system leak, checked for leaks, nothing, cleared the code reset ecu, turned the car on and it gave me my readings at .500. I’m on a base map for fmi and boost controller, I have been in this map for over a month and my readings were always at 1.000 never below

    loose manifold bolts under the skid plate can cause this as well. ask me how I know ;)

    my accessport is reading no codes saying it’s all good but my DAM is dropping bad. I’m hardly ever 1.0. i’m usually at .6- .8 and recently i’m at .3- .6. I got a WRX 17

      i got the same problem my dam has dropped since i got my wrx went from a .8 to a .2 then the next week it was at .4 it changes roughly every week and i’m not sure what the problem is

      check the bolts on your skid plate directly under the engine, I have a 2017 as well, the bolts were loose, and the manifold bolts were loose as well right under the engine from the factory. worth a look into. Good Luck.

      Mines at 1, but on highways sometimes with AC on and hot days my DAM can drop all the way to down 0.688 but always comes back up in low gears, stage 2 pro tune (mishimoto air intake and grimmspeed downpipe)

      I've read somewhere that on the 15+(fa20) that 0.600 and above are normal sometimes

      @@LunasLostLove im on a 15' fa20. stage 1 IAG protune e85 24psi. The car runs pretty phenomenal. However, several times a week my DAM will drop as low as .600 but usually around .750 and come back up within 15 mins of driving. My daily FBK is usually around -4.. occasionally as low as -11. I feel like these values should be scary. However, the car runs.. idles.. pulls..WOT great.. Only CEL light Ive ever had was a too lean code. I reset the ECU and I've never seen it again.
      Anxiety port? Most definitely. But I still am thinking to take it to a tuner to make sure everything is okay.

      Its been fine. I was new to the car and panicking. My car was protuned with mods only on my e85 map. my dumbass was trying to change to a 93 map if I couldnt find e85. I just kept in the e85 tune and it runs great. DAM still drops every once in a while but I dont think its an issue IMO. If your DAM doesnt come up in an hour or two of driving.. something might be up. @@JR_stunts

      Depends on the year of the car. Older models are 16 and newer models are 1.

      @@lowgradetriplea1620 I fixed my issue I started with plugs still same issue my issue ended up being the pcv valve I found it while doing the spark plugs I noticed it was leaking a bit of oil around the bottom hose.

    Dam was at .750, went to .625, now it’s at .500. FKL & FK are 0. Maybe it’s my gas since I’m at 1/4 tank?
