    I would love to see more content around daily life and informative videos on living in S.Korea/Seoul (e.g. jobs, tips for working professionals, where to shop/doctors etc.). Glad you're back and love your content!!

    Honestly I don't watch vlogs I don't have any interest in other peoples day to day lives however I love videos ABOUT life. For example, when people make sitting down videos about their life, stories/story time, experiences and advice.

      Apparently you are not the only one who feels like way~! You're comment is raking in the likes 👀 lol I can definitely make more videos like that 🥰

    You are quite emotionally aware ^__^ I enjoy that.
    Any one of those reasons could have been enough to cause a major burn out. Especially having to do customer service all day long. I can relate. Your brain not only uses more energy with problem-solving, but it also cannot let go of the events, replaying them in your head even at home.

      Thank you! That’s very kind of you to say. 🥹 You also hit the nail on the head. I’m never able to leave work at work any more!

    Glad you're back Camille! As someone who's planning to move to Seoul next year as a teacher, I love location-specific content like favorite places. I've also really appreciated your videos on learning Korean and would love to know if you've made any progress and what's helped! Ultimately, don't push yourself too hard though - mental health should always come first!

      Thank you for the warm welcome back Katherine! I've got a good list of places for my fav neighbours so I could definitely shoot some videos related to that~ ✨ I am also not going to lie, my Korean has not improved too too much lol but I'm working on it!!

    I discovered your TH-cam during the Hagwon/ESL discovery journey I have/had been going through (looking into moving to Seoul before xmas to teach English, wish me luck), which was very well structured. What I really appreciated from your content was how well organised it is; hearing you say it would take approximately 12 hours for each video is very believable.
    I have since followed more of your content (mostly TH-cam since I rarely use TikTok) simply because of the good vibes you are giving, your humour and the comfort of knowing that even if the content is not tailored for me, the quality will still make it worth the +-10 minutes. So I think you should continue producing content that you enjoy!
    (By the way, if you needed someone to create English captions for your videos to spare you some time I'd be happy to help!)
    TL;DR Hope you are well, do what you enjoy and good luck!

      It is so exciting to hear that you want to come teach here before the end of the year! ☺️ I really hope you love it as much as I did. I also really appreciate that you've stuck around even though my content is a bit different now - basically I am glad so we vibe ✨ I always feel most myself when I am filming content so its really nice to hear that there are other people on my wavelength lol.
      ps I'll let you know about the captions lol 😉

    Hiya! Happy to see you're back! Personally, I think you've made the right call in taking a step back from TH-cam when you felt you needed to. It's not selfishness to gravitate towards a platform that best suited your needs at the time. It's called adapting and you made a conscious choice not to give up, but rather keep at it, even if it mean switching it up. I think that's admirable!
    YT and TikTok are completely different platforms with different requirements, audiences etc. I prefer YT because I like longer form content. I feel it gives me an opportunity to enjoy and get to know the person behind the content more than on TikTok, where I enjoy the clip and then just move to the next. But that's just my preference.
    I think you have an opportunity to experiment with your content until you find a good spot between what you enjoy doing, what gives you an audience and why not profit (it doesn't have to be monetary but maybe influence, other opportunities for collabs etc). It depends what suits your style and preference as well, but you can experiment with both. However it's clear that if you want to be full time on TH-cam or really grow, it will involve a significantly bigger effort than perhaps it would be to grow on TikTok.
    Personally, I love videos where the person sits down and talks about their life and life in general. Especially since you are in a position to speak about your life in such a different country. I think vid ideas abound if you want to make candid videos about your experiences in South Korea, how it is to adapt there, how you navigate the little and big things of every day, tips, tricks, lessons learnt etc. I think you're a very collected and down to earth person, with balanced views, so you transmit a lot of authenticity. You build trust with the audience. I would love to know more about your life in South Korea. Hope this helps 💜

      Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed comment 😊 You've given me a nice new perspective on my decision to step back~ I totally agree with your evaluation of TT versus YT. It takes more time and more videos to understand a persons personality on TT where on YT it is a more natural progession. It is also a million times easier to go viral on. I actually blame my whole platform on poor UX. I think a lot of people followed me accidentally because the follow and profile buttons were too close. 😅
      I can definitely spend more time talking about my life here and its ins and outs. Thank you again for your kind words. 🥰

    TH-cam content takes more time to create and has fewer viewers than TikTok, but at least they are loyal fans to you. I study English and watch your videos to learn your thoughts. Because your video is being filmed in a place I know well, and it is explained in English from a foreigner's point of view. If the video has captions, I can use automatic translation so I can see words I didn't understand.

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a great take! TH-cam subs and titkok followers are definitely unique. Most of the time I get recognized in public its from YT and not TT which is surprising considering the difference in total number of followers on each platform. I am glad you find my video helpful in your English studies.😊 I make sure everything is captioned for you and others who study with my videos!

    Do an apartment tour of your new apartment. Maybe talk about prices of apartments. Also, more about Life in Korea

      As soon as my apartment is fully decorated, I will definitely do a tour! I am so much happier here and I look forward to sharing the space with you guys. 😊 Also the fact that this is my third apartment in three years means I have a loooooot to share on apartment hunting lol

    Hello, thanks a lot for your honesty, yes SM can be tiring to manage specially YT it's good that you took a break and tried to live in the moment. I too work as Content Writer and Community Manager and believe me before working, Instagram and other social platforms were a way to escape reality and have fun seing other people's Content but now that they're part of my job I just don't see the fun anymore, I don't even log in to my IG account like I used to. I'm personally very interested in PR, Brand management and working and living in SK since I was 14yo. Wherever you have free time, can you please tell us about the health care for foreigners there and appartement hauting maybe, but no pressure you do what you gotta do, Good luck 🌹

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right~!? I'll be scrolling and my brain will just automatically start thinking about whether or not I can apply a certain approach or trend to my brand's content instead of just enjoying it 😅
      I can certainly talk about my experience with the health care system in SK. I think apartment hunting is also very popular based on these comments lol

    I am kinda a recent viewer, I get the vibe that you could do for example a weekly vlog and from time to time an informative video for example tips about how to get jobs or groceries or how to deal with the bank account differences....you know basic stuff that people who are in Korea can relate and at the same time for the people who aren´t make them see and understand the process and the differences...IMO it would be very interesting and would take less time a weekly vlog than trying to keep a schedule that you are not sure you can keep.

    • @CamilleBlais
      @CamilleBlais  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome to the family~! I think that sounds like a great balance. Perhaps I can film snippets of my daily life throughout the whole month (when convenient) and then compile a little wrap-up at the end of each. These topic ideas like groceries and bank accounts are really helpful as well. Sometimes I think I've become so comfortable here I forget about the differences in the little things. 😇

      If you have an MBA you’ll qualify for an E7 visa. This is the general working visa and basically covers most office jobs. I‘m on this visa myself and I would in Content Creation for a KBeauty brand!

    As much as I enjoy TH-cam, it seems content creators such as yourself would be better off focusing on TikTok instead of doing battle with Google's constantly changing algorithms. YT simply isn't worth the time or effort for anyone but those who are willing to do it fulltime. Good luck to you!

    • @CamilleBlais

      It was definitely is an upwards battle 😅 It would be great some day to be able to make YT content full time~!
