As a French man moving from France to Korea from this September for work purposes, it feels like you are passing the torch on to me 😆 I will keep following your adventures in America and in Europe. I'm honored to hear that you are considering my country as a place to grow. I wish all the best!

Change is definitely in the air. I remember graduating in the pandemic and finding all your interview tips for getting a hagwon job. Its been two years for me in Korea, and I can proudly say that I did it, and I'm done. Teaching English has been a crazy experience for me here in this country, and I can't help but feel like I'm giving up. But after further self-reflection, I too feel the same pull to other places to grow in uncomfortable situations. I know that I'll regularly visit Korea in the future, but living here as shown me that I can live abroad, and there is so much of the world left to see. I'm excited to see where our journies take us! Hats off to you for your bravery and strength to do something like pick up and leave.

I've been following your channel for quite a while now, especially because I loved your content about Korean jobs.
I love this video; I could relate to it a lot. I have been stuck in my hometown ever since I was born and it's like my soul is yearning to explore an entirely different place. I really want to know what kind of person I can become if I could travel and live on my own.
I'm excited for you, and it's great that you are taking this decision. I hope you get accepted into your dream University and have a great time in France. I will definitely keep following your channel ❤

You feel like an older sister to me. I‘m 21, from Germany and I spent a semester abroad in Seoul and going from Seoul back to my parents house where I haven‘t lived since 3 years was so sad and weird. Now I constantly struggle trying to make up my mind about future plans. Almost all my friends from high school didn‘t even leave our home town at all and they seem happy and it makes me feel like something is wrong with me because I never considered staying in my home town. I think sometimes it comes off arrogant as in I think I‘m too good for it but it‘s not that it‘s just that all my teen years I never felt comfortable or happy there. I had a few friends but with most people I couldn‘t relate. But when I see my friends settling down there I think wow maybe I should try that too and also I feel bad for wanting to go abroad again because I‘m an only child and feel like I‘m leaving my parents etc .. (sorry that was long)
But seeing someone like you living this kind of life makes me feel like it actually is a great thing to want to explore and live in different places and it just gives me courage and hope that it‘s not wrong if I want to do that. I really appreciate that you share your thoughts along the process without hiding your doubts. I‘m excited to see more of your journey and what you will experience and learn!!

I first discovered your channel a year and a half ago when I was preparing to interview with a hagwon and your page really helped me with getting a job (thank you, by the way). I subscribed to your channel after that and you later inspired me to work towards transitioning from teaching to working for a company in Korea - which is such a difficult thing to do and I admire you for being able to do it. After living in Korea for 5 and a half years, I've also decided it's time for me to leave and go back to the US for a little while to reset. I'm excited to see your next move and can't wait to hear about your experiences in France!

I’m gonna be honest when you said you gonna leave Korea I felt really sad because you are living my dream. I’ve always wanted to living in South Korea (not visit as a tourist 🥲) and I still have to wait a little over a year to achieve that.
But then I realized that I was starting to act like my mom and I was just projecting my dreams on you.
I can honestly see that you have the same passion and drive and hope you are successful. 🎉

Nice! Put Cape Town on your list for when you get to the African continent😁 I'm biased but it's freakin, it's stunning here. I feel fortunate everytime I look out the window of my entry level flat and get to look straight at Table Mountain (it s one of the Natural World wonders you know😉). Enjoy France, almost did my masters in Lille.

girl firstly, I love how you said "the universe is telling me to..." . secondly we do have 7 planets in retrograde hence I'd extend your visa, just in case you change your mind and go explore but do not leave forever not yet :) if you change your mind later then do it. Anyway Europe sounds fantastic I wish you all the best, love love love!!

@@CamilleBlais I actually lived in Korea for 7 years and left probably because of the same reason you mentioned in your video.I am grateful for my time there and happy I left when I felt called to, BUT I'm now open for a comeback Lol just haven't found a job/opportunity that fulfils my heart and soul. Dont worry about retrogrades, they are just tools and teachers. If we are good people and we are following our heart we are already on the right path, you are meant to learn from this new chapter and I'm excited for you

One thing constant in life is change. While the change is taking place, you will feel lonely, abandoned, or even rejected by a part of your life you invested so much. As you find familiarity and niche in the next chapter of your life, you will look back and realize how much you have grown as an person. Next time, you're about to make another major change in your life, you will realize "this isn't too hard. I've done this before." Now, you are finding more about your true self.
