not sure if you already fixed the tiny lamp you bought but you can definitely buy a lamp kit at Home Depot of Menard's in the lamp section. if you google lamp kits with switch on cords you can see stuff come up. hope this helps! :)
Such great pieces! Don’t worry, you can get lamp kits at the hardware store and easily fix your brass lamp! She’s just a little beauty! If you don’t want to mess with that you could always use it as a vase for some dried flowers 🤷♀️🙂
I was really hoping a lamp kit might solve this problem! Once the top felt off it just seemed to get even worse lol
@@thisgirlathome the subie is correct there are all kinds of lamp kits for different sizes and they really don’t cost much. Beautiful base for a lamp.
You can also thrift another cheap lamp and steal the parts from that!
Lamp kit (cheap and easily available at any diy store) and TH-cam tutorial will have you enjoying your lamp in no time.
That candle stick with the white on it is so unique and pretty!

You can fix the lamp it is easy Peezy and you can buy the kit to do it. Actually, a great price for the lamp it is real brass. Love, love, love the frame. Great buy!
You can just add a battery operated bulb to the lamp. From Amazon. It seems to be the new thing now.
You found some good items! As far as the lamp, you can buy a lamp kit, but you could also put a bottom on it and use it as a vase for dried flowers. The frame was beautiful. Really liked that basket, and the prices weren't that bad. I'm in CT our stores are ridiculous. I think Goodwill needs a wake up that the items were free and prices should reflect that.
So many nice pieces it’s hard to pick a favorite! Love the brass dish for your jewelry, love the gold reflective iron candle holder. I would have totally picked up those wooden coasters and that star candle sconce. I was so sad you didn’t grab it but I agree it doesn’t go with your style.

On Amazon you can buy LED bulbs that have a remote and you can charge the bulb when needed. It would be perfect in your lamp

I have a basket with the handles...and I use it for magazines...that frame is really pretty!

Just put a small lampshade and then a battery operated puck light or small tea light in the lamp
That’s what I think I will likely do! Then I don’t have to hide the cord lol
I love the huge candle holder. It’s unique so I would definitely want it. I like the stool as it is. I put small lamps in all the rooms of the house. I think lamps are very welcoming. You can make that lamp work or if you don’t, you could put a candle in it or flowers. Great picture frame.
The frame is my favorite! But I think the stool is a great find! It's not often you can find an upholstered piece clean and still in plastic! I've had success in using a lamp kit to change out broken thrift lamps, with no previous electrical experience.
You can retire the lamp. Just Google how to do it. There is a kind of knot you do at the top so it doesn’t come undone once you rewire it. I did it to a floor lamp. But it’s been so long I forget what the knot is called. I have a glass vase, not as big, with some marbles at the bottom and a candle in it. You found a lot of great things. This makes me want to go thrifting. But my house is already so full. I really need a bigger house so I can fill it up. When we moved four years ago we downsized a whole lot. And we probably don’t need more room. But I would love to have it. And I want a pool. So I might as well get a bigger house while I’m at it.
You found some wonderful treasures. I love the vase and candlestick with stone. I collect wooden candlesticks and have some that have beautiful carving, details to them.

Hi 👋🏼 maybe a battery operated light bulb , I picked up the same basket a few weeks ago and I placed by my nightstand and keep water bottles in case I run out in the middle of the night!, I also purged over 3 glass vases, then I picked up another one because I needed at least 3 😅😅

I have that exact same stool! I took the fabric off, added another 1" of foam, then covered it in charcoal brown velvet. It turned out great!
I wish thrift stores in southern California had similar prices to yours. I would have bought that painted armoire for $1.99 in a minute. It would have been perfect in my kitchen.

You can absolutely buy lamp kits. I don't think it's very difficult to install but I've not done it. Also, you could always get a puck light with remote and make it wireless
