- Hello friends! Today’s video is a guest room | home office makeover that creates a space that is dual functioning. This room started to become the place where excess stuff got dumped and it wasn’t serving a functional purpose in my home. This makeover serves to change that!

It is stunning! Love the color palate, from the walls to the accents to the bed frame color to the blankets. Even the picture and small accents were meant to be here. The desk makes it have so much charm with the wood tone. Welcoming and inviting, very much so. Great job!

Thank you, Diane! That chair is in rough shape because it basically belongs to my cats lol. I don’t have the heart to get rid of it because they love it so much.
The room looks fabulous. Your bookshelf looks good in that location. It's all about just styling it with the perfect pieces that you live.

I have the same half round table you used at the entrance to your new space. My mom left two of them when she moved from this house. I have several of her “old” pieces that I treasure. I lost mom in January of 2023 at age 94. Your space looks so nice and inviting. God bless.😊

This room looks great. It looks cozy and comfortable. I need to clean out our office and get a daybed. We used to have one with a trundle bed under it. My granddaughter slept on it when she was young. Now after seeing this I would like another one.

comfy here! If the shelf can be hung.. would it fit above the desk? Place it kind of low so that it sort of looks like it fits to the desk, if that makes sense. I think it looks fine where it is..just maybe an option 🤷♀️ Obsessed with the 1800's art piece❤ Love both pieces. My favorite art to collect is from the Victorian/regency era, or old photos or paintings of people. Just something about them I love so much! Enjoyed the video, always enjoy watching you decorate, you always do a great job!😊

I have a bedroom with exactly the same function. I also have a daybed and I like that you did not use a bed skirt around yours. I like the clean open look and as soon as I find somewhere to put all the stuff I have stored under my bed,😅 I’m gonna try it without a skirt too!
I did consider adding a bedskirt because I also love the extra storage space under the bed! You’ll have to let me know which way you end up liking it better ☺️

Thank you! That’s very true. I thought about trying to squeeze a tiny side table in for that reason, but it’s probably not necessary.
Looks great! I think the bookcase is fine there especially when it blends into the wall and you have minimal decor on it. It could be used as a spot for guests to put their water glass or phone during the night as well.

I love the wall color, can you please let me know which color is it? Loved the entire day room I think is a great idea instead of having a full size bed that will only be used a few a times a year. It just gives the chance to use it as an office. I have a guest room that it gets used maybe 10-15 times a year with the stays of family and friends. My guest room cannot be use for anything else because of the size of the bed, night stand and dresser! It’s a great inspiration! Thank you!
