Is it not just worth it remove these? Just seems like it’s inevitable for it to happen again. If it’s a fly trap, won’t the flies just end up on the other side of the pipe which is outside of the car in anyways?
I think it's called a spider catcher. But, just like Incy Wincy Spider, they'll get flushed out when it rains I'd have thought, so all the spider catchers will do is help debris block things up. So, yes, removing them seems the thing to do.
