Lol yeah that reminds me of a dumb engineer. We have ditches vs gutters and he one came out with blueprints for it scratches his head looks at ditch looks at blue prints and says I don't know why it fails it's to the blue prints. The lead worker who couldn't do anything till the engineer signs off looked at him looked at ditch and said you do know water can't go up hill without help right. Basicly the culvert was up higher then the base of the ditch

Another fun video. Just wanted to throw this out there...I'm in Southern Ontario and our national weather station has issued a rain alert...best part is that they have asked us to make sure our storm drains are cleared to prevent flooding. Being able to see the effect of the unblocking in real time as you work is brilliant. So satisfying to see the stuff in the pipes that you can’t see getting dislodged by the water. Goes a long way to remind us just how powerful running water can be

Thank you for bringing us this very interesting and informative video presentation which is very much appreciated by the people. I am surprised that the authorities didn't use a concrete culvert and as you said a larger one because during rain and snow it is not only draining what comes in from the river but also the rain and snow melt which could easily overcome it in it's present state. When you cleared the river inlet the strength of flow looked fantastic.
