@Linda Pietrasz I get it. I have a sister who never swears - I mean, this woman has never so much as said the word "fart" - and I admire her for that. We've become so accustomed to swearing that most people don't even react to the F bomb anymore. It's refreshing to hear someone speak the way Post 10 does (or doesn't, as the case may be).

Great vid! Sorry you fell but it prolly felt good to get soaked. Did you sit down, lay back and put your feet in the air to drain your boots a bit? BTW, tools are always all around you. You can use logs as levers and braces, or sticks to help clear the leaves and debris and dirt. Branches also make good rakes and brooms.

My cousin cleans up culverts too. He uses Silky Saw to cut the branches into manage-able pieces. These pieces then become firewood for home during cold months. You should try using a saw too, Post 10.

That was a very impressive culvert clearance, I knew you would get that log out in the end, you have that determination. At least it was a warm sunny day and you got to dry off quickly. This was a great and interesting video, thank you for bringing this to the people.

Glad to see the lumberjacks up and at'em this summer; lumber and wood product prices have shot up into the stratosphere here! Here's hoping they have a good, safe harvest this season! If I did what you did...all that semi-stagnant, leach-infested, snake-crawling, bare hand on slimy rotten logs, and bugs, and fungus....I'd have to get out of my car when I got home and have one of those tent shower things set up with four hazmat ppl there to scrub me down with super soap and hot water before I went inside, and then burn my clothes. A bit too much of the outdoor "eeeeiiiiuuuu" factor for this city girl, so, thank you, Post10, for doing this for your community and for our hard-working loggers, because I wouldn't be able to.

Two quick things though, they have mini battery chainsaws out there that could make the bigger things safer and quicker. The other is I popped my knee out once pretty bad in my late 20s pulling back on a tricky surface so just saying. Keep bekng awesome though! (If you need some help with the mini saw let me know.)
