This is a little place I've been going for a few decades now and the dam has always been in this deteriorating State and the signs that went up is just a form of laziness instead of unclogging the problem. The reason the dam is in a failing state in the first place is because they allow this clog to form overtime and in the winter the high water freezes breaking the dam. If they would just keep up with maintenance the deterioration would have never happened.

Hey Post10, great job on that clog. I was wondering if that was silt built up in a cone before the spillway or was that poured concrete? When the water was blasting I didn’t see as much of it go away as I had expected which led me to think it was concrete? Will you be going back and clearing the debris below the dam this week too? Maybe you should bring a picnic lunch for you and your lady friend? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😉
I like to think of some guy sitting in the backyard enjoying his little creek that runs behind his house. It doesn't flow like it used but then Post 10 comes along, clearing the clog upstream and a torrent of water comes shooting through and he's like WTF?!?
Let us appreciate how our dear *post 10* fixed the issue in less time than it took someone to order a sign manufactured for closing the pass. Problem solved by a man of action. Take notes bureaucrats~📜
To be fair, the problem looks to be a lot worse than just a clog, and Post 10 said so himself: the wooden bridge is rotten and falling apart, and the concrete's deteriorated to the point that the walkway would be risky even if the water wasn't cresting over it. The whole dam will probably have to be re-done or at the very least heavily refurbished, and that's the kind of effort that takes a minute to manage, especially when you consider the fact that infrastructure country-wide's been deteriorating for years due to neglect and financial issues.
@@LabTech41 even if they want to keep the sign up due to general deterioration of the walkway, they still should have spent 5 minutes to unclog the spillway, to prevent further rapid deterioration.

One of your best ones so far! Looks like a nice place too, clear water
Hey, post. I can’t believe how dangerous that was. I would never have expected to see you put yourself in that position. You could have easily slipped or been otherwise pulled under that bridge with little chance of escape. I enjoy your content very much, but this was scary to watch. Please be safe.
Take care of yourself my friend, I know that you are making a great effort and your situation is in danger. I am Nabil your friend from Algeria
I don't know what I find so relaxing about watching trapped water get freed but I even find myself clearing away leaves and mud from drains and street gutters when I'm taking the dog out. Not full-on Post10 style, just a bit with my foot most of the time.
Another fantastic video. Love watching you unclog things and make the water flow. You do great work. Keep it up.
I live in the desert, it is crazy to see this much water and how it needs to be dealt with. Awesome channel.
You do more efficient unclogging than a whole union DOT crew! Thanks legend.
This is a „let´s do it guy“ in the best way.👍👍👍👍I do not have enough thumbs to put up to him servicing these pipes and keep public roads back in shape. We should buy him some fisherman’s trousers for his service. I think he deserved it 👍😎🇩🇪
Great work ….glad you went back, good to see what your efforts achieved 👏🏻👏🏻
As always fascinating to watch, I really enjoyed when the water burst out of the back of the yard. 💚💚
Official clog blast level measured at 12/10, Post! Impressive! Great job and stay safe!
These videos are so satisfying to watch. I wish I could join in the fun of unclogging some spillways and seeing that before and after contrast - very cool to see a job well done!
🇳🇱You now have 1 advantage your feet are nice and clean from all that water what you do now I think it's great they should reward you for that greetings from Roosendaal Netherlands and good luck with your fight against the BEVER family.👍👍👍👍🍀
25:58 That must be tough work because you seem to collect so much perspiration in your gumboots. 😁 Nice job *post 10!* 👍
It's water from the pond, his boots aren't high enough.
14:30 mark, EXACTLY! SUCH laziness. Thank you for making this better for the hiking folks who want to enjoy nature!
post 10's videos are like therapy.
That was the first time I was concerned about your safety but was glad to know your lady friend was with you .
Fascinating. Great work sir!
This is soooooo satisfying 🤤
Thank you post10 and friend of post10 for filming this
Post10 is nature's plumber. Very satisfying to watch!
Exciting stuff. Great clearance and once again our hero is undefeated. Can’t get at blockage ? Move the bridge
Lol, right? Proves our Post has superpowers! 😊
High post10, you have really outdone yourself with all the content and video...
Smashing stuff, really interesting but not only that beautiful surroundings.
I don't know how you have the time but thank you so much for sharing.
We have nothing like this in 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪, great to see people doing something other then destroying our planet
That's some very good camera footage there Ghost 10, I for one am happy knowing that Post 10 has someone watching out for him when he's out doing these videos, you know, just in case he should happen to have a mishap and needs to go to the hospital or something you know, thanks for being a friend to all us Ghost, perhaps one day you'll let us see you in full view instead of behind the camera lol, Post, you got yourself a real good keeper there, don't let her slip away dude, I loved seeing your boots in the crystal clear water using your feet as a rake to help drop the water level, that was awesome,
Always so satisfying to watch you unclog, and then water stars gushing
Well done
I’m wondering if the trail is closed due to the crumbling concrete and the unsafe wooden bridge, and not just the overflowing water.
Another great job Post, bridge needs replacing and new concrete to make this trail safe again!
Your passion for what you do is remarkable.
The water is incredibly clear, it’s fascinating watching the erosion going on around you. Thank you 😊
Hey post, any chance you could explore downstream once you release so much water after a long time of nothing?
This is therapeutic man keep it up
The sound of the water and your voice is smooth and informative
What a beautiful location and such clear water! ❤
TH-cam recommended this video and now I can't stop watching them!
It's probably closed due to the missing concrete sidewalk that leads to the bridge, instead of being closed due to the clog alone.
I was thinking the same. But did the clog start the concrete damage?
@@teenyab Hmm... perhaps!
Post10! Wrecking all that Beaver (dams)! Strong work brother.
