Hello I'm looking for one thing but I can't find, If my reference image has some details on it and I want to "copy" while my poligon is in the front of the image how can I let the reference image be something like transparent so I can see that to reproduce on the solid ?
@@WhatMakeArt in some videos the shape is different and the size is different as well we need a video on this because beginners find alot of hassle for it
I'm using Maya 2024, Is there way to turn of the image plane just in perspective view? I checked both the view and show menus in that view, but no options to turn it off. I don't want to turn off (or hide) the image plane all together, just in the perspective view.
Try to select the image plane, then in the Attribute Editor, look under Display, choose "looking through camera" That should show the image plane only in the camera it was created in so top and left rather than perspective
@@WhatMakeArt I went to the Attribute Editor, then chekced the Display menu, but they don't have Looking through camera. Maybe they changed the menus for the 2024 version.
Alright, thank you! This also helped me deal with my frustrations, because it took me so long to figure this out on my own!
Glad it was helpful 👍

Hey where did you got the reference images?
I took a picture of a toy stuffed bear 🧸 from the front and from the side, then I removed the background with Photoshop and aligned the images
