To save you 8 min: 1. Go to your front view port (By hitting spacebar then again while hovering over front -Z pannel) 2. Select "Image Plane" (Its in the top left of your view port *4th button along*) Hope this helps!
I hate it when they don't get to the point. Hey we aren't here to stay and watch! Just need to see the fix and get back to the project we're working on.
Thank you, I personally use pure ref but this is a lot convenient if you want to get to that exact shape you want. Especially with the sword. For me, I'm trying to make a knife
Nothing personal, but to anyone not wanting to watch an 8 min video for 1 min of information. FRONT view-- Image plane (fifth icon on the left of your viewport)-- click on your reference image Do the same if you have a side view image. Also be sure and set a project file, and put your reference image in the "image" folder. Hope that helps.
I gave you a thumbs up, but just a constructive critique, with the legality explanation, theres too much repetition. Id suggest get that out of the way and to the tutorial. Plus side, is this is a helpful explanation
Nice vid but there is no need to spend time hammering in the fact where you got the image from. Comes around pretty preachy and moral. Also if you are going to spend minutes preaching, "commercial" spells with two "m"
okay just so you can improve. The actual tutorial started at 4 munites litteraly half of the video was just not what i needed to hear and not what the title ezxplained................
You explained the use of fee non commercial image use for a minute. Too long mate, say it in 15 seconds. And then didn't tell us how to do until over 3 mins later. Work on being clear and concise and you will do alright

@@konsyjes Can you imagine the creator being like "HEY THAT'S MY DESIGN" Lol.
Every time they see a basic sword design.
As if someone was going to even bother to look this video up and sue him for that *professional* "design" of concept art. seriously

skip to the point next time. TDLR: press image plane button while in front view mode.

I was modelling for like 9 hours today and listening to a few standups, but this comment was the funniest shit I've heard for this day
