    For the past 7 years I’ve applied Tegaderm over my patches to keep them from rubbing off. It’s a very thin breathable adhesive film that doesn’t come off until you peel it off. Swim, shower, sweat - it works.

    I am having problems getting my hrt patch to stay on. I did use gel before alongside another pill, but either the gel was out of stock or the tablet was out of stock. Can you use medical tape to keep the patch on? My husband says it won't stay on because I didn't use rubbing alcohol on the skin first and I am fat.

    Do you apply the patches at the same time, for instance if I apply my first patch in the morning, do I apply the second one in morning also?

    Wow, mine is so tiny. It’s about the size of a nickel or less. I love that. I was doing it on my lower tummy, but it wouldn’t stay on due to my mommy pooch/C-section area. My doctor told me to put it on my buttock, but is there a certain area? Does it matter as long as it’s somewhere on the buttocks? I didn’t know if a certain area absorbed better. Do all areas absorbed pretty much the same? No matter if you’re plus size or not?

    I remember my mum having that problem so when I needed hrt I researched what patches stick the best all said everol so I started using them and they really stick! Even after four days I struggle to peel it off. Now I’m concerned about other comments on hair loss here? I’ve been on these for about 5months I haven’t noticed hair loss any more than I had before will this happen the longer I’m on them🤷🏻‍♀ really concerned now as I have really fine hair now 😳🙏🏼

    my hair has started falling out since starting Evorel Sequi. I thought it was my imagination at first until my 12 yr old daughter told me she could see my very pink scalp through my hair and helpfully took pictures and yes it is thin. So depressing. Apparently the progesterone in Evorel is androgenic and known to cause hair loss. What alternatives are there?

    • @bellarose-au
      @bellarose-au 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Have you managed to find an alternative which doesn't have your hair falling out?
      I just put my first Estradot patch on tonight and then searched for info (should've done that the other way around I guess) but my hair has been falling out on and off since mid 2019 - before I started menopause. It's falling out again now and it's so thin! I can't lose any more, I know that will be the last straw for me after this year from hell.

      @@bellarose-au I know, I sympathise, it's very distressing although I've got so much going on at the moment I'm starting not to care about my hair falling out - in answer to your question it is still falling out. I've started using Regaine although it's too soon to tell if it's working. HRT hasn't really done anything for my migraines apart from reduce the severity but then it might not be that, dificult to tell. I will keep going for another couple of months. One thing which has changed: I have NEVER had pmt or pms, ever but now, in the week before my period comes I feel murderous! Hope you manage to sort your hair loss out.
