    Quick Correction: The cost of Enclosures is 350g and 150f as mentioned in the beginning, so my bad for the typos at 2:44!
    The majority of you voted for Enclosures, so here you go! Imperial Examinations up next, then we'll do another vote on the content you'd like to see. I'm also testing a new thumbnail design to make it clearer that it's an Age of Noob video, so let me know what you think. As always, thank you for stopping by! :)

    First video that I've watched of yours but it was great! Would love to see more like this (and the Abbasid Improved Processing video). It could even be to do with different unit types fighting each other, or rebuilding new lumber camps as you chop in vs not paying the extra wood and sticking with the 1 camp, etc. Subbed :)

    Little fun fact:
    Why do English "enclosure" in medieval era generate gold? The new world plantation of cash crops like cottons and sugar (AOE3 era) wasn't a thing in medieval era, so how did the English "grow gold" in farm in medieval era?
    England found themselve a cash jackpot from wool, harvest from the sheeps, before cottons was discovered, wool demands was very high throughout Europe and England was almost the monopoly of wool in that era. Farmland was belongs to the Lords, farmers (serf) were just bound and working for the Lords, and the Lords found out harvesting Wool generate WAAAAAAY more cash than farming wheat or Apples, converting most of their farmlands into Sheep Pasture for the goldrush. Wool business was almost like Oil in the modern days. There was a food crisis that a lot of farmers losing their jobs, much less crops available in England. The Kings could gain a LOT of cash through taxing the wool trade as well.
    For the game itself, why the farm wasn't converted into English Sheep Pastures (Gold)? Maybe the dev doesn't want mixing up with Mongols Pastures?

      Rus have this trait, by slain animals they "sell" their skin, wool whatever

    • @straelboraaaa
      @straelboraaaa ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Player100500 The Rus people can sell Fur or Hide, but the problem is, you need to kill the animals for the fur. Wool are like keep growing and you don’t need to kill the sheep, wools are much more sustainable like the sheep being their money printer.

    • @Player100500
      @Player100500 ปีที่แล้ว

      They could've overlooked it, besides this should apply to mongols as well, because nomads were selling wool (without killing) in great amounts to China, Iran and Rus

    • @straelboraaaa
      @straelboraaaa ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Player100500 It doesn't apply to Asia, because Asian have Silk, way more efficiency than English Wool, they don't have high demand of wool so it doesn't work in Asia.

    • @Player100500
      @Player100500 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@straelboraaaa Only China produced silk back then, and it worth more than gold. Not all Asian benefit from silk

    Given that it is like having five relics, is the tech OP?
    Or, did they add it because of a previous late-game weakness for the English?

    • @Thekelskgamingetlets
      @Thekelskgamingetlets ปีที่แล้ว +1

      always been in the game , not even touch after a year and 9 patches. So the tech was OP from the start . Just that imperial games are rare on pro level , and english isn't this much picked (compare to french). Still the most OP tech of the game even better than the golden gate (Rus age 2) wich still considered the best eco landmark of the game.

    • @UniDocs_Mahapushpa_Cyavana
      @UniDocs_Mahapushpa_Cyavana 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is OP in isolation. Even when it got nerfed to 1 gold every 5 seconds.
      However, the Castle 🏯🏰 Age landmarks for English are god-awful compared to the good ones and the only good Feudal Age one does virtually nothing in Imperial.
      So, it doesn't really make the English's late game very impressive as long as the opponent does the sane thing and captures the sacred sites while the English have a major power depression in Castle 🏰🏯 Age and walls them in. Thus leading to the English constantly being on the back foot and having less efficient trades as a result.

  • @Thekelskgamingetlets
    @Thekelskgamingetlets ปีที่แล้ว

    And thats why its always better to farm than consider trading . Just kinda sad that Trading don't worth the investment even with faction that meant to be trading.

  • @davidbnpl
    @davidbnpl ปีที่แล้ว

    Honestly a clickbait title :) For anyone that can read description and has at least ape's IQ it's obvious that it should be researched as soon as possible. In fact this tech is the only reason I rush imperial when I can afford it because it not just payback tech's cost quickly but even aging cost pretty quick. At that time I have like 50-70 farms so aging+tech (4100res) paybacks in about 6-7mins if you include +5% farm gather rate bonus ENG get each age. This video should take no longer than few seconds and you should just scream "do it always!" :D
