Just got an 07 Elantra as my first car and this video was really helpful. Especially considering that I know nothing when it comes to cars. I appreciate it man
Protip: Always test speakers or any other electronic before putting the rest of the panels over it. Last thing you want to do is having to take it back apart because you forgot something or it didn't work.
Is there a way to remove the speaker without breaking it, even though it's riveted? There's something wrong with the wiring of mine and I can't afford new speakers, so I was going to just check what wiring was loose.
It looks like the original driver is glued into the plastic surround, so I'm wondering if I could pry it off (less destruction) and just hook up the new one in its place.
@@saladfox no I tried prying it at first I had to use a 1/4” drill bit to drill the rivots out and just a fair warning it took what felt like forever to get all four of them loose to remove the old speaker and replace it with the new one
I would say yes, absolutely. Car doors haven't changed much in 40 years, so while the screw holes and clips might be in different locations, the basic removal/install procedure will be the same.
@@bored1980 oh so sorry to hear man. I watched your Suzuki swift video and there you used to call her and her mother. It's very sad to hear a broken relationship due to indifelity I hope u find ur love.

“You’d rather have to much or not enough, unless it’s a circumcision”😂😂
The fact that he laughed at his own joke, made it even funnier 😄
Thank you bro it really helped. Not too many videos like this one.
Good video, one question: Do you know how many inches the 4 speakers of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata measure?
What speakers would you recommend for this model of hyundai elantra
Very helpful thank you. What brand speakers and size did you use in this video
Those were JVC coaxials, 6.5 inches.
Hi 👋 question so u know how to fix everything n Elantras ??? Like this one ? If yes where r u located if u don m to ask ? Thank u
which speakers did you end up using ?
The circumcision joke really caught me off guard lol
do you need to pre-wire the speakers or can you simply use connectors that you can buy online?

You’ll have to drill the rivots out then replace with screws

@@rjwilleford6281 Noted. I'm thinking of getting a subwoofer linked up before I try replacing the factory drivers- will see how it goes.
@@saladfox I’m running two subwoofers in mine in just depends if you want them wired directly to the rear speakers or not for a high frequency
Does this work for 2016 Elantra? and for front passenger side?

Hello just wondering what size the speakers are?
6.5” speakers
This was so helpful! Thank you!
Thanks
