dang, the trees really filled in at camden since i was racing there 20 years ago.........although that does tend to happen with trees over the course of 20 years. congratulations on the big win, and the fight you all put into making it happen is admirable
@@delaneygardner hey! just wanted to say you're welcome and you did a really outstanding job getting your crew hyped up, you definitely knew of great things to say and how to say them to best coach your rowers through that race. i remember WP being very good back then, good for you all for maintaining that tradition. saint andrew's was always my favorite course, but camden is looking wonderful. last of all, it's wonderful you have this video to keep the memory alive, but be ready for the hit of nostalgia you're going to get when you watch it years from now, trust me on that one because it brought back a lot of memories for me! congratulations again and good luck with whatever's next!!!

Your own girls are looking out of the boat almost a minute into the race because they don't know where they are in relationship to the competition... they just know they are down. How far? And where are you on the course so they can judge their output? Also, no stroke rates or splits (if available). There is a lot of energy but it feels frantic. You get the win (congrats!) but this could be stronger. Volume, tone of voice, and delivery all impact what happens. I do not mean this as a slam, simply an observation for young coxswains who might be watching the video.
