Wow watching this and recognizing the look on their faces towards what I consider the hardest part... That final 250-350 meters... Each stroke they took, and the pain increased, but still they pushed harder, and my respect grew. Brilliant race, making those moves towards the end is just pure agony. Respect +++
You guys fought through the entire race. Stroke seat looked on the verge on lactic acid burnout at roughly 250-300 meters in, gotta be one of the mentally toughest crews I’ve seen on yt cox recordings. Y’all fought to the fucking death and nothing less.
this means so much, thank you alex! our stroke seat paige is very mentally tough, it's amazing to watch her throughout the whole race. it was definitely a fight!
What a fantastic effort! I enjoyed watching these races. As a rower myself I know how hard it is to move back on a crew. Such a great regatta for the entire team. Well done.
Great video. I really enjoyed watching your vids, and think that you did really well as a team. Also glad to see that you use croker oars. Whilst I am happy that Saint Catherines won (because I am Aussie) I think that your school and team were really good.
WOW that was an intense race. I gotta say ive been watching your channel since about april because I am learning to cox and I have learned so much for you. You guys did fantastic all the way through and I love how positive you stayed through the whole race. I am wishing you and your boat a great success in whatever all of you do next. Thank you for sharing your journey with us❤
SUPER intense yeah!! that means so much, i'm so glad my recordings have taught you some things about coxing :) it got hard at times to stay positive during the race but i appreciate you noticing that hahaha. i loved sharing my journey and i wish you the best in your coxing journey as well :)
It’s been awesome to follow your crew this past season through your channel and yall are incredibly inspiring to a highschool rower (me 😁)! Keep up the awesome work. ps: I believe the channel grew by like 200 subs since last video so congrats haha :)
some of my favorites are ‘through the legs’, ‘drive’, and slow-drive-away (decreasing speed in the last quarter of the slide to the catch, driving with the legs, quick arms away). Hope this helps!
HEY IM BACK I NEED ADVICE so because of a shortage of people who are attending a race my team is traveling to, im gonna be coxing a womens 8 for a 2k race. im very nervous and I need some help. ive coxed 8s in the past but never in a race and im wondering about any good coxing techniques you could share. tysm
Yes!! My biggest piece of advice is to talk to your rowers!! Something that might work for this coxswain might not work for you, so use your resources wisely! Talk to your rowers and coach’s and fellow coxswains!!
The amazing TH-cam algorithm. Lol! Probably because of the "varsity" word in your title cause I'm watching clips from the sopranos? Interesting video though. Got a workout just by watching it

The hardest sport on earth makes for strong determined and awesome women.
this cox has a feel for what this team is needed, good job, and awesome video
Such a great race the whole way through. Glad I made a cameo at 7:35 on the press pontoon
that’s awesome!! thank you so much :)

This brought back that exciting morning that felt like one second ago. Proud of you all!
Fantastic effort right through the line. Love the fight.

Go Winter Park!! So proud of you guys!
My abs hurt after watching this
Great start. Incredible fight!
Timing and form is something others should learn from.
Awesome❤️❤️❤️. Recently found y’all and am so proud!!!
thank you!!!
These videos are great - congratulations on making the final at Henley - an awesome achievement. Will Winter Park be back at Henley in 2023?
thank you so much!! i just graduated so i am not sure but it is our team’s hope to be back :)
As a newer cox for wp what are some good calls to always remember if I run out of words?

Gutsy effort crew. A real credit!

"Ladies" what!!! Thought that was a social construct. What about the men in the boat?
The 8 men rowing that boat go crazy
Either way they probably have faster erg times than me
