Team, Good content. I’m still contemplating between an Mid-SUV and Sedan. This clears few of my concerns. I still hold a Suzuki’s 1.3L Esteem which moves like a gem though. :)
However, one question which always nag my mind is apart from height, stance and road presence, comfort how could we pit an Capabale SUV against competent + capable Sedan like City/Slavia. Any thoughts.?

I can surely say, this is one of the top and unbiased channel. They give equal importance to each and every car while reviewing. Earlier Honda city 5g review made me comfortable to settle with Honda City though I had test driven most of the competitive Sedans and SUVs. Owning Honda City 5g VMT petrol. Butter smooth car with Powerful engine and good space. I often travel between Chennai and Coimbatore which is almost 500km. Never ever get tired of driving and no body pain as well.

Great video as usual Team! Missed lot of your videos recent times due to hectic work. I would probably go and revisit. As far as this video is concerned, I could see a complete transparency from the owner as driving enthusiasts may not be considering this car. That’s very true and that’s the only reason I chose Rapid over City.😃 Glad that he also had Rapid in his mind in the beginning 😄Apart from that City ticks all the boxes which sometimes Rapid misses to tick. I believe the new launch Slavia finds a sweet spot between driving enthusiasm and comfort 😃 Cheers Team😉
Very well explained by the user and thanks for the detailed insights of my all time favourite car. Also it's worth mentioning that Motorwagon's standard has geared up like anything, kudos! One question, did the user try 4th gen city (which is based on SOHC engine) and what is his overall opinion about it? Say engine refinement, comfort etc. Understandably this 5th gen is about 5L costlier and does this price difference really pays off?

The acceleration sound is not a noise but pure sporty music to ears. I own a city 5g myself and many of my friends have asked the question if I have an after-market exhaust. I feel the sound of the engine is a PRO when it comes to enthu drivers. Good review overall.
Yes that's true. I just love it. But you know I have boomers that accompany me sometimes. It's normal for a 16 valve engine.
however I think the exhilaration from the drive when runs off and would love to doze off with some good music. I would go with the damping and get a crossover and amp plus some good sounding speakers.
Very truly said.. It's a really a under rated channel... What I think is if they do a English version of the same video then it would reach a million people very soon.. Good thing is that I am a Tamil speaker...
Thanks for this detailed one. It’s been 30mins video and didn’t make me to skip or ff. Felt a good review next to autocar. I own 3rd-gen city and compared to other versions; build was good but weighs less than 3rd-gen. You could easily feel the quality on the doors, where 3rd-gen door is strong and sturdy. Wheel size/base could have been increased atleast in this 5g.
Yup the wheel well is large but the wheels don't fit in

One doubt, for all the cars u say, gear gates are well defined and speed is building linearly. Can you explain or tell example where these characters are not there.
Gear Gates - this is the passage of the gear either in increment or decrement in a perfect slot. Punto being a great handling car with 1.3L Multijet engine spoiled the fun due to the rubbery gear shifts.
Linear Speed - The engine build speeds in a linear manner without struggling and without pulling the passengers

After seeing your reviews and I am craze of Honda cars only on engine smoothness and performance
Ashik and me had similar ownership entry to Honda city.
I was driving an Alto K10, wanted to upgrade. City was never in my consideration as they did not offer Diesel back then. Everything changed in 2013 end when City introduced the Diesel.
Was about to finalise Amaze in Jan 2014, went to the showroom and saw the city there. The sales person didn’t even bother to sell it to us. While waiting I casually sat in the city just to get the feel. Boy, it was love at first site. The difference in EMI was not much when we worked the finances. Decided to test drive on the same day, came back and booked it. The car was delivered in Feb 2014.
It has been nearly 9 years. I have driven nearly 2.2 lakh kms.
Now I am looking to change the car. Problem is not many SUVs or Sedans offer the comfort of the City. Hence I am stuck. Not sure which other vehicle gives me the comfort of the city in the sub 25lakhs on road price budget!
Very true bro . Once you are used to Honda , it is tough to convince to move to other brand . I am using Honda city for 13 years , I am stuck with your same issue .

I want to change the inbuilt headlamp of both projector beam and high beam, which LED brand and version should i go for? And is it good to change the fog lights as well like the top varient?

I have been watching MG almost from the inception and alrady gave a feed back.as this car owner said it is above English channel.though it is varnacular ,people are technically well inclined and we'll read.it is very obvious from the content .as an profesional heavy equipment auto mobile Engineer from Anna university MIT,i endorse MG as my favorite.i watch bbc car shows,and no.of usa car reviews and ofcourse our NDTV car and bike show.MG is way ahead technically and content wise.all the best.

Bro Honda city la clutch tight ta?? Compare to other company honda company clutch and Geer are very smooth. Nxt u told about engine noise. Normal people told that is noise but ivtec lovers only feel that sound

Thank God, we have dropped out rapid and purchased city 5th gen. Now rapid has been discontinued. And Yaris too. Buying a car from middle class family is bigger thing. We have to be very careful in choosing the car. If we buy a car then if it is getting discontinued in a few months, then think about the situation.

Had very bad experience with Honda city 5G ZX model. Dealer sold the Vehicle with the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Warning Light on condition. it took 6 months to resolve thse issue
