Ground clearance : If you drive slow and carefully no issues at all
Even if u drive very slowly also, there will be some instances where u will scrape the underbody... 165mm is too low for our bad roads... My aspire gets hit even with 174mm GC.. Take the low slung cars down in a very deep ramp and u will know how difficult it is to manage without scraping
I like the way you speak with clear voice and medium tone with gaps between words. Some speaks continuous which i feel hard to grasp. Yours is very clear.
Using 2007 city automatic still working good like new.

Naturally aspirated engine is better compared to Turbo charged because of high maintenance and leakage of Turbo. Engine reliability is less in Turbo.
Say that to your kid! Owning a turbo-diesel Swift since 2009. Clocked 2.83 lakh KMs on factory fitted turbo. Only over-filling engine oil will damage the turbo.
@@gentlethrottle The Turbo in my older Ritz conked off mid-drive inspite of routine maintenance at highest rated Maruti Service Masters at Chennai. Got a huge bill 😭 including Engine valve damage due to misfiring on account of broken Turbo. Turbo is fun to drive no doubt but NA engine is simple and sweet
@@venbas2 Simple. Routine maintenance/ Dealership maintenance are all lies. Unless you maintain a car yourself, you aren't supposed to take the literal meaning of maintenance.
They wanted you to buy a newer vehicle, so intentionally damaged the turbo by adding excess oil. Am damn sure you must have not monitored engine oil levels, have you?
Even my ignorant independent mechanic was overfilling engine oil by 400 ml which led to a play in the shaft of the turbo leading to power loss after the engine crosses 1800 RPM. Swift/Ritz Diesel needs just 3.1L of engine oil. It is the standard practice of any company/mechanic to simply fill the whole 3.5L can. And when the company folks notice your car crossing 80,000 KMs, they will simply advise you to by a newer vehicle. Reason? They aren't interested to do periodic maintenances which requires intensive labor and time.
You must have also monitored the timing chain kit. Maruti claimed the timing chain to last for life time. But you have to replace the kit at an interval of 1 lakh KMS for efficient functioning( timing ) of the inlet and outlet valves.
Also, turbo equipped vehicles must have their fuel injectors + EGR + intake manifold + Intercooler cleaned at intervals of 40,000 KMs

I have own the same City cvt, 6 months old. I have chosen Honda city for the 2nd time (previously 2012 vx). This time cvt.
I feel a little bit disappointment this time. At the cost of over 18 lakhs, it should have still more.
Noise inside is more compared to older ones. The music system is not at all satisfactory.
I am terribly disappointed over these two issues.
Another issue I felt is the hardness in changing to drive/ nuetral / parking modes.
Luxury/premium should have been added in the top model.
I feel more disappointed over Honda this time especially towards the noise inside & the music system.

2. CVT, Continuously Variable Transmission
3. AMT , Automated Variable Transmission.
Explain about what are the three transmission with a car, and in another video make a comparison about them, and test the practicality of the same and find out which is the best?
bro DCT is latest automatic transmission. You won't even feel any gear transmissions . CVT is another type of transmission which is available in Honda ,Hyundai . Here there is no gear transmission it will be like steps and at last amt which is low budget automatic transmission.It can found in base vehicles like santro,wagon r . so if you are going for automatic transmission prefer dct or CVT ,amt is not worth if u r buying above 10lakhs
There is also TC. Torque Converter.
Budget cars and even premium cars have these. But there are huge differences.
Just the names are not enough.
Every brand use specific transmission.
For example, Honda's and Toyota's CVT are much much more reliable than Hyundai's, Kia's...

Bro - Nice review of the Honda City 5th gen. However the 4th Gen is also available at a huge value for money V-MT variant and it has some good advantages over the 5th gen. I own the 4th gen and would be happy to clarify details and after my extensive usage including 450+ km non stop drives.

@@paivaspiano4160 Ground clearance is same as 5th gen and not an issue for most speed breakers. Only the worst speed breakers were a challenge with full load Mileage on highways is easily ~20 if we can keep it at 80kmph. Spirited driving in 3 digit speeds will make the mileage drop to 14-15. City mileage is around 12 in Chennai with AC on 100%

Only sunflim with level CR20 or less would help in summer heat. Ippa Adikira veyil ku manda kaanjirum for long drives at day time.
Slavia can be considered if price is not a constraint and also ready to pay little extra for maintenance.

If you are tight on budget, go with Ertiga. You have made a good decision.
If you do not have any budget limits, choose carens since the engine refinement, looks and comfort are a class apart ! However maintenance would also cost you more on carens since there has been bad reports on KIA maintainance cost wise.

Overtaking without a turbo needs little planning and good experience. It takes a little time to speed up and on driving this becomes a problem without a plan.

However the workmanship is not as expected being a Japan major.
In my case the rear door was not fitted properly and the alignment was not proper.
There was leakage in the front left door leading to water stagnation in the doorway.
Sound insulation is not good in even NH roads where the surface is not fully even.
The plastic used in the near the wiper below the bonnet is not up to the mark.
Though these are trivial issues I am still unable to digest because I didn't expect these from a international brand.

Very bad city mileage after 1 year of driving. Driving in highway for 15-20kms plus some traffic, it never increases more than 10.5 km/L.
In the beginning in highway used to give 15 to 17 km/L, and now not even 13 km/L . i dont rev above 2k rpm either

Is it true the user is telling that he is getting 22km/litre [80-90km/hour ] speed in highways ,I have s.presso so far done 48,539km to date the tank to tank filling, I am getting 23.20km/litre if you compare maruthi -suzuki is having the best fuel efficient engines, I am not sure the user is frank about his fuel efficient view , what do you think Honda city is that fuel efficient?
