Last year bought Honda City ZX, no regrets so far. One of the best NA engines available right now. The CVT gearbox is ultrasmooth and is best suited for sedate driving. The interior is simple but luxurious. Suspense is best for city driving but you may feel boating effect on highways due to softer suspension but handling is excellent. Steering feel and feedback is excellent. The infotainment system is simple but supports wireless android auto and apple carplay, thats more than sufficient for most of the needs. Service and Service cost is okay, not the best. But city is a reliable car, just with regular service the car would run without problem for decades.
Bro that's why I booked Honda city's elegant edition to get delivery but next week. What are the problems you have faced while this 1 year journey l. How about ground clearance, did you felt any issues below.
Please state what are the problems you have faced so I am able to improvise that.

City, in technical aspects, is a problem free car. The only problem you may face in the near future is, you bought an expiring model, which is already selling very few units because of loss of interest among the buyers. Availability of spares may be a headache due slow movement of sales, and main problem you may face very soon is Honda City model will be flooded with offers because yards are full of unsold City cars which they will sell off with lakhs worth of discount and offers. At that time you may feel like you paid a high price tag.
Ground clearance is the main drawback, that's why Cuty is struggling in sales. You will often rub your car's under belly often in bumps, level crossings and speed breakers. That's for sure. Before buying the City itself, you've already came to know the lower unladen ground clearance and should not expect ground clearance in a sedan afterwards. If lower ground clearance starts biting you, there's no other way but to live with it, you're aware of it before the purchase right?? You have to live with it because you cannot easily sell it without loss after it gets registered on your name because as I already said it's slow moving car.

@@covaiinfo7034 Ground cleance is not really an issue but always slow down on broken patches and speed breakers. Chances of scrapping is higher when the car is fully loaded with 5 passengers. But with little caution you can easily avoid underbody scrapings. I haven't faced much issues, mileage is nowhere near what the company claimed. I am getting only 8 to 12 in cities and upto 15 in highways. Sometimes when I clean the infotaiment system with cloth, the displays completely goes off and comes back to life after some time. There is no option turn of automatic emergency breaking permanently, it turns on automatically during every ignition. Completed 3 services so far, not satisfied with 3rd service.
It's far more better than any Maruti or vw and Skoda out there 👏👏👏

Excellent video, fantastic value, this was my last car served me for 7 years the CVT is a breeze, you need to be a saint to extract those fuel efficiency figures, even with the mild flex of the right foot engine sings to 3000-4000 rpm and that's addictive max I've got is probably 9-10 kmpl in the city and 14-16 kmpl on the highway. Fantastic car had to sell it as my family increased in size. I had the 2017 version that had a slightly stiffer suspension but handling was spot on. Boot capacity, performance, seat comfort, reliability and fuel economy are all the Honda City's forte...Have great memories of this car and many drives. Better to go for the CVT as it's very comfortable to drive in traffic and on the highway, less fatigue and strain.
the reason i bought elevate over honda city is because of its ground clearance.
The -R variants now have 5mm more GC - Total 170mm GC
Now Slavia Classic / Virtus Comfortline / City SV - R tough choice to make. On Road Price of Slavia is lesser than other two, but City alone has rear AC vent and Arm rest.

Honda naturally aspiratesd 4 cylinder engines are more reliable and lasts long even for more than 10 years
@@Dinu1911CIAZ too not a bad choice it's a VFM if u r strict to budget..... But still ciaz comes second compared to city if u have no boundaries on budget...
After your review only I took delivery of the SV model, It really amazing experience, But please clarify , Hill hold assist is therer or not, In your SV model review you told, Hill hold assist was exists. But I checked in my Honda City and confirmed Machester Honda Senthil, No Hill hold assist. And as a climax my new Honda City was damaged in last December Chennai flood is very unfortunate. again planning to take the same after few months.
Sir really sorry to hear the news. But you can test out the hill hold on incline. Nowadays most ESP systems include hill hold

Hyryder, Grand vitara base variants have only 2 airbags. Better go for XUV AX5. It's got all the features and more power
You are comparing between compact SUV and mid size SUVs. And between GV and HYRider only the logos are different.
If your 6ft in height and head room of the both hydrder and vitara are not good. Don't go for it. This is according to my review.

Definitely Hyryder and Grand Vitara are better choices. 3XO boot space is smaller compared to other two cars. Also naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engines last long than turbo engines.
