Belive or not, but in cockpit view mirrors are on the car in Forza 7. In 3rd person view, nope, gone. No idea what Turn 10 did to them...

I think that the sound of the GT-R is pretty much spot on, but the exterior view doesn't really sound exterior... There needs to be some reverb at least imo

I prefer real career mode, tuning, more cars, tracks, and dynamic weather than graphics.
Everything in Forza is high quality. All reviewers, including prestigious car industry entities like Top Gear, Road & Track, praise the high quality game it is.
Gt Sport Quality? No career mode, No cars, only 6 real tracks, 20% of the cars are not even real, but F-Zero-like futuristic concepts, no dynamic weather, no car damage, bad physics... Basically only replays an sun effects are good. Online racing good, but forced online to even play single player, unacceptable

The GT-R in Forza sounds too much like a boxer six its bothering me. Either that or an Aston Martin V12 in the cockpit. GTS nails the sound pretty much in every effect other than shifting, and for the people who actually know what it sounds like can confirm. Looks like the old sound director for Forza was the better one, because GT-Sport just sounds better. As for graphics, GT has better anti-aliasing and just a much prettier presentation for me. Other than the trees, GT wins for me.

Both are great, great games. With each one having its strong points. If you focus on single player, Forza feels a lot more like GT was now, much more cars, bigger career mode, special cars locked behind events and a better sense of progression. GT in the other hand has better graphics and better online. Forza has a more thrilling sound but stock cars often sound like tuned cars, GT has OK sound this time. Anyway, If you can enjoy both, it's the best idea.

Ignacio Romero GT Sport is more sim focused, Forza is easier to pick up and is more forgiving. Like I said, it all comes down to which experience you want. If you're an amateur driver Forza is probably the game you'll want to go for, but if you're a skilled gamer and you've been playing sim games for a while, GT is the right game for you. (Just stating my thoughts, please don't start a war, I really don't want that shit in my notifications)

I wrk at Nissan for 5 yrs, been in stock 17 GTR it doesn't sound loud like FORZA. I notice Forza makes all the cars very dramatic and loud. The game is simply need for speed ish. Not the better game
Moises Jaime bro.... I just turned 29 yrs old. I was a mechanic for Nissan for 3 years. Started on the lube rack and eventually turned into a tech. I'm a salesmen for Nissan now. I drove GTR's a couple times. FORZA is childish, if u have been around cars enough it's very clear turn 10 aims to excite even if they move away from reality doing so.

Ecactly what i thought, the gtr and even 90% of other cars doesent sound like forza in the cockpit, its much more dampened inside a car but forza sounds are always over the top and thats why gts takes the cake this time, gts isnt the Soundking but certainly much more closer to the real life sound in and around the cars!

the 3d model in forza is :
1- unfinished
2- completely broken.
Like, seriously, the brake lights are missing, the rear looks weird ( maybe because of the camera ?? ), the side mirrors are missing, at 120km/h, the windscreen wipers are moving like I've never seen them moving and the turbo gauge on the gps seems broken too, it should be at around -1 when not accelerating ( it's weird that GTSport doesn't have it though, gt5/6 had it ).

It has still some other problems, wrong placed caliper, wing clipping, wrong headlight texture on the mk6 r and so on, the f1 rim has a bug since release.
We still have last gen wheel models from older forzas in fm7, for example look at the flat low poly bbs rs or compare the wheels from fh1 and fm7.
Shift animation is just copy & paste, mostly the hands/finger don't even touching the paddles.
Detail and quality wasn't, sadly, t10's goal with fm7..
Pure Racing The music and main menu went to shit as well. The Aventador sound was great in FH3 but they decide to make it shit in F7, same with other cars. Even the rain! Perfect in the demo and great in F6 but they make it shitty on release.

The upshifts in GT are way more accurate tbh. It's a double clutch car, it shouldn't sound like it dropped much in revs, it should be really quick. Good job on PD for catching that detail, and props to the major upgrade in sound design.

in the cockpit is the gtr not that loud. gt sport got a very realistic sound. it is like oriignal. search for ''nissan gtr acceleration' a video from VB2R (channel name). and you know what i mean. in forza 7, it sounds like you are hearing the motor from the trunk.

When in cockpit mode in forza, the car seems to don't have windows because the noise is really similar to the one with the chase camera
And gts gives the opposite feeling, don't matter the camera the sounds remember the one at the cockpit camera

Why is this done in two different times of the day ? One is done at say 11am the other is dusk .
Sound wise it's odd on both. GT in-car sounds correct with the exhaust sound muffled a bit, where the Forza in-car audio sounds like it was recorded outside of the car, not inside. BUT then outside the car it's swapped where Forza sounds more like an external mic would pick up the exhaust note, and GT sounds like you're still in the car with a muffled sound.... Graphically it's a bit hard to tell with the time of day showing drastically different shadows, there was no closer time of day settings?

Indeed it is, because Forza 7 doesn't allow you to choose specific time of the day. It allows you to choose between day and night. That's it.

I only played Forza series since I always had an Xbox after PS2 and enjoyed every minuet of it but even a Forza only player can clearly see that GT has much better sounds and the graphics are much more crisp but In the end they are both really good games. I did enjoy GT 3 for PS2 though.

I feel like Forza Motorsport 7 has one advantage over Gran Turismo Sport, and that's shadowing, I've just always felt that GT Sport's shadowing just felt a bit too... I guess, unrefined, is how you would say it.
However, GT Sport definitely takes the win with everything else, such as reflections, sounds, lighting, etc..
I also do wish that GT Sport did the R35 GT-R's performance display like FM7, idk why they did it with GT6 _(and gt5 probably, although i've never played it),_ but not GT Sport. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never thought that I will ever say that, but GT sounds better than Forza. Big improvment over the vacuum cleaner sounds of GT5&6. On the gameplay Forza looks a bit more slippery and tends to oversteer.

I have read reviews and both game seem to have pretty low rating by people who actually played them! (not by critics like IGN and meta critic...)
Considering the fact that gt sport sounds great and is more of a hardcore race game, while forza 7 has over 700 vehicles with slightly better graphics, which one should I buy (keep in mind that I am a BIG driveclub lover so I’m more inclined towards buying a PS4 which means gt sport)? If you have got a chance to play, please let me know which one has a better career mode, because I’m not willing to spend money for a ps plus or Xbox live subscription which means I’ll spend most of my time playing single player campaign mode. Players from all corners of the world are saying that that with gt sport requiring a compulsory internet connection, has a bad career and forzas loot crate system and career mode has been not quite as good as previous games. Like I said previously, I’m more of a career playing guy so let me know which one will suit me. Thanks for reading my comment and do tell me which one will be better..

Took my preorder off the XBOX ONE X after reading and understanding what GT is doing to the franchise. Got the Pro and GTS same day. People must understand that GTS is not a finished project. It’s a introduction to what they solely want the focus to be when GT7 actually hits. It’s building a community of real race car gamers that will learn how to drive from different techniques and Skills provided by the licensing, challenges and Time trails it offers in campaign mode. Right now GT does have the upper hand. The feel to the game is more realistic and the sound is dead on, just not over pitched like Forza franchise. As far as screen visuals, GTS takes it. This is coming from a guy who played Forza since #1 after being turned away from GT because of the lack of. Yes Forza has more content and more tuning and that sort but just for NOW. I’m guessing PS5 will see GT7 and I guarantee Forza will finally be out done.
