A few sections of the US & world have what I'd rate as ideal weather. Nevada/Fla/Texas are too warm or humid, the Northeast/Midwest/Northwest US are too wet or cold. Sections around the Mediterranean, California or South America/Australia are (imho) generally just right. They're sort of the baby bear of Goldilocks & Three Bears.
Fun fact : the pink flamingo 🦩 lawn ornament was created by a guy in Leominster, Massachusetts and every year around ground hogs day they celebrate it with pink flamingos 😂❤

Make sure to ride the LV Monorail as it will take you right by the Sphere. Recommend getting an all day pass and ride during the day and at night. We are avoiding the strip until F1 is over 🤦♀️. Have fun Adam!

Las Vegas is super fun. I make sure to go at least two times a year. But I think one of the fundamental keys to survival in Vegas is not to stay for more than three nights😂 even if you win money, Vegas winnings seem to crawl out of your pockets and go back home if you stay longer 😅
Been to vegas about 30 times. Have rented a car twice i think. Not worth it unless you are doing a daytrip way off strip. Traffic, cost of parking now...cheaper to just Uber or tram. If you want to head to fremont, the Deuce bus is the cheapest way. On the other side of the strip there are free trams that go from bellagio/aria/park mgm, and excalibur/luxor/mandalay.
Went to Biloxi with my boyfriend at the time and some friends he won not as much as you did. I think it was $100 but insisted on keeping on trying to win more. We kept trying to drag him away saying no quit quit. Nope of course he just lost all of that.

You need to make it over to the Bellagio if you wanna see Christmas decorations. They really know how to do it right. That place was my friend’s favorite place to stay on the strip when he used to visit every few months. You NEED to go spend the $100 and go to the sphere. I saw dead and co. There. Amazing. Go see the U2 movie. Even if you aren't a big fan...absolutely worthwhile. I swear you forget it's a movie and it feels like a concert.. but better. The band isn't ant sized. 300 or 400 level center is perfect.
We have stayed in many hotels on the strip, and The Flamingo is the best for price and location. Get a 24 hour bus pass. Very inexpensive and will save you a LOT of walking to the monorail. The monorail is more expensive too. Go to the Gangster Museum too!!

All day to walk the stip haha. Must have been a heck of a day! It’s just over an hour to walk from the strat to mandalay.

They really changed the Flamingo. It was seedy looking several years ago. We used to stay in the Mirage, which they are now redoing it.

I've run the las Vegas Marathon there twice. I think the strip itself "proper" (ends at stratosphere) is about 6 miles long.
