Oh that magical TH-cam moment where i either discover a old series already completed or a new one with 1 to 3 episodes so far. No in-between. I love this
Tip for slabs: if you stick them in your crafting grid, you can lock them to being horizontal. Do it again, and you can cycle through vertical, then back to normal. It helps to prevent placing them vertically by mistake.
Okay, that was hy-larious. 🤣 Bears are *so dangerous* that when I see one anywhere near my house, or wandering nearby, I go after it right away. Ten spears thrown from the top of a nerd-pillar at least five or six blocks high. I don't *even* care what people think about that tactic. This game is *hard* , and you don't want to lose sight of a bear once you've got one spotted.
If the nerd-pillar works, don't let the world judge you! Very good to know it takes ten spears, that's basically how I killed my bear (+ I died trying to melee it at least 4 times lol)
Very nice, I like exactly this amount of editing, too. Not too much where it becomes a key dangling simulator, but enough to focus on the highlights of your journey. Seeing you learn the game during play is also satisfying, and I really like the house you made. Mine are always so industrial and ugly, lol. I liked the bear memoriam and really liked how you sectioned areas of the map like that.
Thank you! I love presenting the survival aspects so I try to keep out the mundane but still show the struggle! :) my base is looking pretty good but I barely have enough food to survive the day lmao! Thanks for watching! :)
I'm already hooked on this series! Your style is right up my alley. After skimming past other Vintage Story videos, you are really striking such a funny, cozy, interesting balance. Keep up the awesome work!
God I'm really liking this series. I started it properly after I watches a few of your latest videos on it and you genuinely seem to enjoy it, I'm thinking of getting it myself at this point
Im loving this series! It’s so interesting to watch you play - and I’m not sure if you’ve seen the interview - but Tyron, the games lead developer, mentioned your Vintage Story series as his favorite. I forgot the name of the channel that conducted the interview - but it was very recent.
I'm loving this series so far! I found your channel a while ago and then lost it, been looking for it for a couple of days now. Also, I've been playing Vintage Story since before they added pit kilns, and I had no idea that the type of top fuel you use determines how long it takes!
@@TimmyTwoNipples Definitely! As soon as I figured that out, it was all I used and I saved the firewood for Charcoal or baking. Peat is such a time saver resource!
Hmm yes pick up the molten copper with your hands is a no, but picking up the skin melting metal with tongs and sliding it into your pocket is completely fine lmao
ahh the tongs. not too long ago characters were able to pick up and walk on molten metal in their bare hands and feet, no problem, but the devs nerfed our asbestos skin so we can't do that no more
How did you go and make one of the nicest looking starter houses I've ever seen on your first time playing ToT Mine was literally a cobble box I constructed from a ruin
I'm thinking I'll make it to the winter (probably 2 more videos) and then switch it up with some new games in January. But I'll definitely come back to it! :)
blud really got that copper tools before making a basket
that is crazy
Who needs inventory space when you could have a shiny copper pickaxe
Oh that magical TH-cam moment where i either discover a old series already completed or a new one with 1 to 3 episodes so far.
No in-between.
I love this
Welcome, glad to have you :) Episode 3 out on Sunday!
the series is turning out to be the EXACT type of vintage story content i’ve been craving but unable to find (until now!) instant subscribe
Thank you so much! Glad you're enjoying it :)
Same here honestly!
Looks like your about to get an influx of vintage story fans to your channel. There are dozens of us! DOZENS!
I welcome al 12 or more of you to my channel, witness me struggle!
Too real 😭
Look at this mans luck having borax under his house. Bruh.
Plus Temporal Gear drop on like his first drifter almost!
Breaking the charcoal is the coolest sound in the game.
Couldn't agree more, makes breaking 500 pieces of it at time worth it lol
I'm sorry more people don't know about this channel, it's so good
They're gonna get more recognition I'm fairly confident with quality like that
Thank y'all ❤
@@TimmyTwoNipplesyeah please keep up the quality! your hard work definitely smells like famous ytber worthy lol stay hard

That is SUPER good to know, I was deleting and replacing like half of my slabs lol
Okay, that was hy-larious. 🤣

The memoriam was awesome
We must remember the bears for which we've lost!
this episode was wonderful! i would love to see more of this game if possible
Episode 3 is in production! :)
Is there something we can do to boost your channel? I feel like these videos deserve way more attention, they are sooo funny

Loving your VS videos. Lucky temporal gear drop!
Thank you!! Glad you're enjoying! :)
youre so lucky to get a Temporal gear ( its super rearly)
This is actually cool. It makes it even more fun to watch since you're really interested in the game. Hope to see more!
More on the way! Glad you liked it :)
Another great episode! This story with the neighbour and the resulting grave 😂 excellent!
Thank you! Lol
Temporal gears are very valuable, make sure to keep any you get in the future!
I used it 😬 I got it from like the 3rd drifter I skinned so I didn't think they'd be too rare.. lol
@@TimmyTwoNipples They are rare, and you'll need to have at least 3 collected in the future. Using your first one to set your spawn in fine, though.

15:22 you’re so lucky to have gotten a temporal gear out of a random surface drifter in your first try.
God I'm really liking this series. I started it properly after I watches a few of your latest videos on it and you genuinely seem to enjoy it, I'm thinking of getting it myself at this point
Highly recommend, it takes the usual survival formula and pushes it to the next level! Lots to do, lots to be killed by lol
HELL YEAH, new episode!! Loved this, glad you're having fun with the game :)
Can't wait to really get into the winter prep! Glad you loved it :)
mnicee, ohh and you'll need a hammer for the iron ore :)@@TimmyTwoNipples

this house is so stylish!!
Awesome video man
RIP Neighbourino
Forever in our hearts.. and in my base ❤️
u can tell that timmy would be cool to smoke with
lmao glad I give off the non nightmare blunt rotation vibes
This is very fun! I can't wait to see more!!
Glad you liked it :) Working episode 3 now!
This is a good video. I played this game a few times when it first came out but haven’t touched it since
16:28 omg and you just randomly found borax. You don’t know how lucky you are
Hmm yes pick up the molten copper with your hands is a no, but picking up the skin melting metal with tongs and sliding it into your pocket is completely fine lmao

Thats actually insane 😂 I love how the tongs have a magical aura that allow you to still hold molten metal in your dominant hand lmao
nice video! part 3 pls
cooking up part 3 now! :)
...so yeah pottery, very tedious...
... So i made 3 more of those vessels!!
Lmao its tedious in the best way possible
How did you go and make one of the nicest looking starter houses I've ever seen on your first time playing ToT Mine was literally a cobble box I constructed from a ruin
I honestly wish there was a ruin closer to the middle of the valley, would have been fun to work with! :)
Im enjoying every video
Thank you so much!! Glad you're enjoying the series :)
How have I never heard of this game, lol
Man, im loving the content : D you have any plans on making this a long series?
I'm thinking I'll make it to the winter (probably 2 more videos) and then switch it up with some new games in January. But I'll definitely come back to it! :)
Very entertaining :)
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
well done.
did you find the copy layer command in clay forming? its on the far right
No 😭
Use the "f"Key for all clay -options. Also relevant for smithing, I think
It took me 2 years to find borax lol
I have a Question?
Does this game have Creative Mode?
it does indeed! :)
Uh oh. *gigglesnort*
You found borax in your cellar!? Sigh
IKR?!
Why am I never that lucky? 😣
Meanwhile have everything ready to go for steel, but just can't quite find borax after hours and hours!
what seed is ur world have?
