Still a great series... classic lines though "you may crash into the island..." Love the series. Great vids

Thanks for all the case I videos, they go into great detail with both the setup and actual flying which is really helpful.

10:31 - That's where I'm at right now. Excellent video series by the way! I especially love the youtube tutorial missions.

The tutorial was good but I gave the thumbs up for the comment about shooting the tanker down😂😂😂 I definitely did using the radar lock technique from your other video!

I've botched landings so badly I've hit the Stennis's island when landing on the Roosevelt. This series helps a ton!

I’ve hit every square inch of the boat when I was trying to learn

After watching your 'How to get good' video I went back to basics. I had avoided carrier landings in the past (because I crashed into the ass of the boat) but followed this series to the letter and landed first go (fourth wire). I do not know whether it was a fluke but I followed every detail you taught. Can I just say the sense of achievement was amazing. Thankyou so very much you are a fantastic teacher.

Legend mate!! So good to hear you got the hang of carrier landings... or at least aren't afraid to try landings again now :D

Awesome Tuto as usual TQ. I haven't tried to Tanker refuel but it's nice to know I won't be alone in my anticipated rage XD

Can I just say that I love your tutorials. They are broken down into manageable chunks, & there is no pilot speak, other than what is necessary. Very easy to understand, & in my opinion the best turorials that I have found for me on the Tube. Thanks mate & please can you do more on other aircraft too?

Cheers mate, glad they make sense and help you out. I plan on eventually making my way through other aircraft but just gotta chip away with the time that I have haha

@@TorniQuetHD I can only imagine just how long that it takes to put the tutorials together, & the time that you put in to doing these is massively appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your know-howto: it's cool for apprentices ^^ ps: on twitch your break for your landing on the aircraft carrier are superb, it impresses me your way of recovering the AOA, it has become very fast automatism !!!

Great tutorial on case I...only thing I’m missing in this series is the case III...I did one of those the other day and didn’t see the carrier until the last moment...when I landed with succe and the hornet came to a stop, using vr, I noticed my heart was pumping like crazy

Case III’s are a different breed aren’t they… mad respect for the naval aviators who do that stuff for real 🙌🙌

Well done on the landing. Great CASE 1 demonstration. Will check your channel for the 2 & 3 and the new Auto landing if you have it. Cheers!

Have things changed on the landing LSO grading since you did this? All I seem to get are C with a series of some kind of codes. The way your broke this down into the five steps was a great help. Do you by chance have this for Case3?

The only issue I still struggle with is the turn to groove, seems like I end up turning too wide and end up way too far to the right of the carrier. I'm turning at 30 degrees so who knows. It's frustrating. Maybe I should put a greater distance between me and carrier on the down wind, or start my turn to groove later, but then I wouldn't be "by the numbers" so I don't know :(
