    Ok, I know this vid is old, but it's like the best TACAN video around and overall highly informative. Fantastic job!

    I just went through all 5 parts of the case 1 carrier landing. These are excellent videos, and I like the way you broke it into parts. I'm looking forward to watching all the many other videos you made. Excellent work and thanks for sharing these videos!

    Excellent again thank you. I like my tute videos short and snappy but for some I want the detailed explanation without them being drawn out. You hit that mark perfectly and you are becoming my go to man 😎 So..... onto part 2 'See you at ten' bud

    I got the Hornet in December after having learned the Hawg from the Ralfidude zero to hero guide. It made learning the Hawg so easy that I was struggling while learning the Hornet because there was no "learn this first and then learn this" guide, there were just outdated and all over the place tutorials, the included interactive tutorials don't seem to cover anything that came after 2019 (correct me if in wrong) and Eagle Dynamics don't seem willing to update them, I don't have the habit of reading so learning through reading makes it very difficult to me as well, tried Chuck's Guide, even though it is very well made, I was still struggling, until I found your channel and this playlist. I'm learning the Hornet now and you made it easier, thank you.
    Just a quick question, is this one of the missions the module includes or did you create it yourself?

      Glad you’re finding the tutorials helpful mate!! That’s why I made them cuz there was limited videos out there that didn’t go for ages and rambled on without getting to the point.
      I made this mission myself, ive got a mission editor for dummies playlist that goes through setting up an aircraft carrier to practice with case 1’s etc.
      Thanks for your kind words mate, appreciate it.

      Man same with me lol. Ralfidude playlist was so easy I learned the Hog completely in 3 days damn. I find the Hornet much more difficult and complex but this channel is too helping me out

    Need to do this for the tomcat!!!

    • @TorniQuetHD
      @TorniQuetHD  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These principals will still apply for tomcat mate, same airspeeds and altitudes just different airframe and different flight handling… I really struggle to fly on speed in the tomcat because it’s not a trim and forget kinda deal like the hornet

    If you see mother at 10 wouldn't that be a 20ish nm "bubble" around mother?
    Ive only made two carrier landings successfully and both times the dude was screaming at me to break it off, lol. From a straight in, lol. The Squids don't want to make it purposefully any easier do they, lol.

    • @TorniQuetHD
      @TorniQuetHD  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah a 20NM bubble around the carrier, but you call in once you hit 10NM from whatever direction of travel your coming from.
      Carrier landings are hard to master but once you do it sets you apart from a huge chunk of the player base who never bothered to learn it. Just another level of hornet mastery to add to your repertoire

    • @JerDog1984
      @JerDog1984 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TorniQuetHD It's a 5nm max distand from the carrier, so a 10nm bubble. You also can't eneter holding from anywhere - you must enter from positions 3 and 4 or 2 and 3 (forgot)

      @@erfguuipo8084 nah mate, no need for it as I said before. The hornet has enough auto functions, landing is one of the fun parts to do manually for me
