10. Black Manta in black suit 9. Sinestro (Yellow Lantern) 8. Superman Classic 7. Guy Gardner 6. Hal Jordan 5. Bizarro 4. Kilowog 3. Batman (black & gray) 2. Booster Gold 1. Blue Beetle The Blue Beetle Bug is the greatest thing in the entire toy line. Classic Superman lost a few points for me because of the smile, and he's just a little too tan. The S shield is a little off, too. The capes are greatly improved, but still not quite there, moving Supes and Bats down a number or two. The classic detective Batman was my favorite figure in the line though, and the black & gray repaint is glorious. Black and gray is my favorite look for Batman. The new figure is like an awesome mash-up of Kenner Super Powers and the Kenner Combat Belt Batman, which was based on the Animated Series. I don't think I would rank Booster and Beetle as the top two if I was being objective, but I'm biased and they're MY personal favorites.

I just got my first one from this line yesterday... I wasn't digging the first waves at all, they all seemed pointless to me since they weren't neither as far or as close to the original line for them to make sense. Until they starting improving the body molds to make them look more in tune with the vintage sculpts. I was already looking forward for the detective batman tho I was waiting for ir to come up in the wild, but then I couldn't pass on the new superman as soon as i saw it... after openig it i kinda love everything about it and im sure ill be buying more. And they feel great quality for the low price point. I hope they keep on and I kinda wish to see more hardcore characters like Etrigan or some more of those obscurer villains. You both have great hairs by the way haha.
Great call on the dishonorable mention but I'd like to add one to the list, the Batman who laughs, nobody BUT NOBODY asked for that figure. With that being said my top 10 are. 1. Bizarro 2. Superfriends Black Manta 3. Booster Gold 4. Blue Beetle 5. Superfriends Brainiac 6. Hal Jordan 7. Grey and black Batman, love the detective one as well but I think the only reason he's not in my list is because the blue is too dark, I wanted that super baby powder blue on it. 8. Reverse Flash, the yellow on this figure really stands out in the group 9. Gold Batman, Black batman is so close to this one but I went with Gold 10. Riddler, even though the body is way too bulky, I think they should've gone with Sinestro or Flash for the body but whatever, I love the colors on this one I do think the green could've been more neon but that's just a nit pick. And since the list is only 10 figures my honorable mentions go to Superfriends Sinestro, Guy and Smiling Superman, and for the record I am one of the ones that is not super excited about his tan, lol.
Actually don’t hate that Batman Who Laughs figure, but it’s an odd inclusion for Super Powers. But it wasn’t released in 2024, so he was ineligible for our rankings anyway! Haha. Awesome Top 10 you put together! Happy New Year!

My Top 5: Brainiac, Blue Beetle, Fleisher Superman, Sinestro, Black and Gray Batman. He's a repaint of Blue Detective McFarlane but different mold than Kenner but fits right in with the original Kenner line. You are right about the Dark Knight Collection, they NEVER did a standard Gray Suit and black cowl, gloves, boots and undies.

How do you guys display your figures? I don’t know what direction to take my collection. Also I wish they would expand on the characters and avoid making a bat/Superman in every wave.
To be honest, I don’t currently display them. No dedicated space for them, so I just roll them out and set up for recording, then store them back away safely. If I were to display them, I’d probably pose them by affiliations with my preferred version of repainted characters. Then all the duplicates would be posed together. I recommend checking out the Kenner Super Powers Collectors or McFarlane Super Powers Collectors groups on Facebook if you need inspiration for displays. Some great stuff people are doing on there!
Bizarro, blue beetle, and booster gold were in my top 10 of all figures and my top 3 super powers 2024. I did get a lot of super powers from Santa if from Santa means I bought them and marked them as from Santa under the tree
Funny you mentioned making a Bizarro from Superman! I did the same thing because I had two Supermans and White-Out def was what made the skin rough and "Bizarro" looking. Then I took a marker and made "angry" brows. I remember giving him to my younger cousin who thought for the longest time that Bizarro was a mail away that he missed out on.😅
I also really liked Justice Lord Supes and Black and Grey Bats! Not all repaints are bad lmao! I think my favorite of the year was probably Booster but for sure wish he came with Skeets. Love that Skeets from Nerd Candy! I know what I’ll be buying this year!
The socks were from Target! But they have a bunch of similar ones on Amazon. I’ll check with Chris on the shirt and respond back ASAP! I had a similar one years back that was purchased at a Six Flags, but I don’t think that’s where his is from!
Hello, I wanted to start collecting DC figures. Would Super powers figures be better investment or should I start collecting the larger McFarlane figures? One thing I notice is that pricing is increasing for both and I may stick to one line. But in the long run which is the better option? Also, I like both line of figures.
Both are solid lines. Pros and cons to both. Super Powers feeds nostalgia and are much cheaper for the most part at retail (though starting now, you’ll probably pay a premium to catch up). You also have the original Kenner Super Powers to consider. Would you want to collect those too? If so, that will be a pricier option. Multiverse you get more character variety, accessories, and figure articulation. Really depends what you connect to more.

You’re definitely not the only one! He was in Wave 6. I’ve been seeing a lot of his figure popping up out of Mexico. If you can make a connection there, that might be a good option to purchase without a CRAZY mark up.
Funny -- my number one is probably Zur-en-arrh! Hehhehheh Next: Riddler, because of the history of the figure, though I would've liked it better had they used the actual Green Lantern body. The caped Brainiac is very cool and I really hope to find gold variant Wonder Woman somewhere. Thank you for another great video!
