I've known about the Super Powers line way before I discovered this channel. It's actually how I stumbled upon your channel in the first place. I love me some vintage-looking action figures. And your passion for talking about these figures is just infectious. Every time you review each wave makes me want to buy them and every time you do videos about rumored figures, it gets me excited to get them. Even in these kinds of videos, you get me excited for figures that don't exist yet. It's crazy (in a good way). My Batman with the black Batwing and the Whirlybat just arrived while rewatching this video and I can't wait to open it up. And with all of this said, you've just earned a subscriber. While not really Super Powers but from the 80's, I'd love to see a 2 Watchmen 3 packs. The first with Rorschach, Doctor Manhattan and the Comedian and the 2nd with Ozymadias, Nite Owl and Silk Spectre.
Great ideas! Just hope we get more figures, period. There still have been no pics of the rumored next wave. Also very surprised they're not doing Joker and Harley to tie in with the movie coming out in less than two months. Plus a Jokermobile (which was supposed to be in the original line) would sell much better than the Bug or the Skull Ship.
Kind of surprised about the Joker/Harley, also. I thought that might be what they were holding off for. Would love to see a SP Jokermobile. The Animated Series Jokermobile was pretty nice. I wouldn't worry too much yet. Last we heard, Wave 9 was still ready to go with others also being planned. Of course, anything could happen, but we're still thinking there will be plenty more going forward!

How about a three pack of Giganta (Legion of Doom style)? It could consist of one figure at normal size and then a taller version that would take the space of two figures in the box, maybe collapsible at the waist so that it would fit in a three figure box... doable or dumb idea? Hmmm...
Yeah we went down that whole rabbit hole putting the list together and ultimately just decided to make everything 3 packs for simplicity and consistency. Could absolutely have some with 6+ characters.
Great video! I like the 3 packs they have been doing but I feel they would get more mileage out of 2 packs. Kenner was the master of doing those for the various Batman lines they had through out the 90's. If McFarlane plans to keep this line around for a long time they might want to start taking pages out of Kenner's book..... or maybe just the whole book.
I would like to see a Kryptonians 3-pack with Jor-El, General Zod, and Superman (all-new Kenner-style sculpt). The Wonder Twins with Gleek (wind-up toy that does flips) would be pretty cool. How about a Shazam with Black Adam, and Dr. Savana (with Mr. Mind) 3-pack? I'm all for multi-packs for all of the Legion of Doom members needed. The possibilities are endless if McFarlane listens to the fans. I would like them to be available in the stores for purchase and a reasonable price point. I'm wondering why the Super Friends original version of Lex Luthor hasn't been out in the first wave. However, that may try to make an old-school power suit version instead. Or will they make the business suit version? I'm all for any version made , but just want the original Super Friends Lex Luthor to be released .

And Orion looking from the original Jack Kirby comics and not the look of the Kenner line. No offense to Kenner at all here! 3. Ventriloquist with Scarface, Killer Croc and a Anarky. 4. Martian Manhunter with Fire and Ice. 5.2 Parademon army- builder figures with Desaad. 6. Batgirl with a Killer Moth included with a First Appereance Batman figure! 7. Doom Patrol of Robotman, Negative Man and Elasti-Girl 8. Creature Commandos. 9. The Authority characters of Midnighter, Apollo and Engineer. 10. Green Lantern Corps pack with Tomar-Re, Kyle Rayner and a Hal Jordan Parallax.

Shazamily is a great choice for #2, but do you go with the classic 3 or do you include the new family? I would move the Flash Rogues to #1, but I would not include Reverse Flash. RF, Lex, Joker, and Cheetah are perfect for selling alone, so I would make the Rogues Captain Cold, Mirror Master, and The Trickster. Great ideas though...

I'm not sure where this pack currently stands, so I'll just go ahead and share this... This is good "gossip". One of my high school friends, who is edging closely to retirement, is an officer for a big, non-collectible toy company. Anyway, he told me about a SP 3pack of Gotham female characters. Huntress & Catwoman were in the pack. I imagine a Cheetah might be planned in the near future too because of that Catwoman buck. The only thing that could've off-ramped this pack (besides the line's supposed sales problems!) Is that McFarlane just announced a Huntress for the 7" line, meaning that this couldve been planned for Multiverse instead of the Super Powers and my friend's information was off. Also, this was supposed to be out around now. Anyway, take it for what it's worth.
Very interesting! We heard an unsubstantiated rumor about some other Gotham related figures/vehicles too, but not the 3 pack. Hopefully that comes to pass! Are there sales problems? They seem to be selling fine (preorders selling out in record time, etc), but the distribution is all kinds of messed up.
Your guess is as good as ours. Supposedly, McFarlane doesn’t think they sell, but they make females in their other lines, so it’s a bit confusing. Especially with so many people asking for them to be added.
Capt Atom for sure and Teen Titans for sure. For a female lineup.. cat woman, cheetah and poison ivy. If they do a hawkman or girl, I hope they don’t make the wings fixed with no type of articulation. How about a three pack of vacumetal figs.

A random super villains 3pack with Black Spider (Eric Needham in classic costume) Murmur (Flash villain), and The Fisheman (Aquaman villain). I'd love to see Toyman, especially that version. & I'd also like to see the alternate reality version, where he was an actually puppet, I think it was in Kingdom Come.
None. I started with Super Powers in 1994. Unfortunately, I fell in love with 6" scale. Super Powers is now too small for me. I will always have a fondness for Super Powers, but I won't buy them.
DC isn't doing 6", just McFarlane, which I strongly dislike. I'm a 30 year Collector, I have built 6 different DC Earth's, I have only bought 6 McFarlane Figures. That may change as I want to Army Build Manhunters. The extra size is actually perfect for them. And I have very few Green Lantern Villains and a 20 member Corps.

Great ideas! Just hope we get more figures, period. There still have been no pics of the rumored next wave. Also very surprised they're not doing Joker and Harley to tie in with the movie coming out in less than two months. Plus a Jokermobile (which was supposed to be in the original line) would sell much better than the Bug or the Skull Ship.
Kind of surprised about the Joker/Harley, also. I thought that might be what they were holding off for. Would love to see a SP Jokermobile. The Animated Series Jokermobile was pretty nice. I wouldn't worry too much yet. Last we heard, Wave 9 was still ready to go with others also being planned. Of course, anything could happen, but we're still thinking there will be plenty more going forward!

Great video! I like the 3 packs they have been doing but I feel they would get more mileage out of 2 packs. Kenner was the master of doing those for the various Batman lines they had through out the 90's. If McFarlane plans to keep this line around for a long time they might want to start taking pages out of Kenner's book..... or maybe just the whole book.
Can’t disagree. Kenner did some great things in that Dark Knight line. Even more repaints than McFarlane! Lol
I would like to see a Kryptonians 3-pack with Jor-El, General Zod, and Superman (all-new Kenner-style sculpt). The Wonder Twins with Gleek (wind-up toy that does flips) would be pretty cool. How about a Shazam with Black Adam, and Dr. Savana (with Mr. Mind) 3-pack? I'm all for multi-packs for all of the Legion of Doom members needed. The possibilities are endless if McFarlane listens to the fans. I would like them to be available in the stores for purchase and a reasonable price point. I'm wondering why the Super Friends original version of Lex Luthor hasn't been out in the first wave. However, that may try to make an old-school power suit version instead. Or will they make the business suit version? I'm all for any version made , but just want the original Super Friends Lex Luthor to be released .

Shazamily is a great choice for #2, but do you go with the classic 3 or do you include the new family? I would move the Flash Rogues to #1, but I would not include Reverse Flash. RF, Lex, Joker, and Cheetah are perfect for selling alone, so I would make the Rogues Captain Cold, Mirror Master, and The Trickster. Great ideas though...

This is good "gossip". One of my high school friends, who is edging closely to retirement, is an officer for a big, non-collectible toy company.
Anyway, he told me about a SP 3pack of Gotham female characters. Huntress & Catwoman were in the pack.
I imagine a Cheetah might be planned in the near future too because of that Catwoman buck. The only thing that could've off-ramped this pack (besides the line's supposed sales problems!) Is that McFarlane just announced a Huntress for the 7" line, meaning that this couldve been planned for Multiverse instead of the Super Powers and my friend's information was off. Also, this was supposed to be out around now. Anyway, take it for what it's worth.
Very interesting! We heard an unsubstantiated rumor about some other Gotham related figures/vehicles too, but not the 3 pack. Hopefully that comes to pass! Are there sales problems? They seem to be selling fine (preorders selling out in record time, etc), but the distribution is all kinds of messed up.

Your guess is as good as ours. Supposedly, McFarlane doesn’t think they sell, but they make females in their other lines, so it’s a bit confusing. Especially with so many people asking for them to be added.
Capt Atom for sure and Teen Titans for sure. For a female lineup.. cat woman, cheetah and poison ivy. If they do a hawkman or girl, I hope they don’t make the wings fixed with no type of articulation. How about a three pack of vacumetal figs.

None. I started with Super Powers in 1994. Unfortunately, I fell in love with 6" scale. Super Powers is now too small for me. I will always have a fondness for Super Powers, but I won't buy them.

DC isn't doing 6", just McFarlane, which I strongly dislike. I'm a 30 year Collector, I have built 6 different DC Earth's, I have only bought 6 McFarlane Figures. That may change as I want to Army Build Manhunters. The extra size is actually perfect for them. And I have very few Green Lantern Villains and a 20 member Corps.
