Easy install. 3 gauges with pillar pod. Had a bad sensor wire out of the box and GS customer service sent a replacement quickly (great customer service). Used the small orange wire with black stripe on the back of the headlight switch (early 1997 F350 PS) for my dimmer connection. I did not drill my OEM trim. Wires tucked (used a 4 ga. GS wire harness) and ran neatly in the room between the GS supplied pillar and the OEM trim. Wires hid well between the truck dash and kick panel and cannot be seen.
How accurate is the fuel pressure gauge on the FPR since it’s a mechanical pump that runs off the cam which causes pulsating readings? Has anyone used it in this application as shown?
Is there a way to find videos for your specific gauges? Not everyone got those 4 smh 🤦♂️. A water temp video would be nice. Doesn’t even show it in my instructions that came with them.
I have noticed that every one of these install videos are installing the gauges into trucks with automatic transmissions. As such they are running the wires into the cab thru the plate where the clutch master cylinder would go. That doesn't help much for us who have a standard transmission. I have a 1995 F350 5 speed and am installing a 3 pod setup with a boost, EGT, and fuel pressure gauge. After much back and forth here is where I drilled; on the inside under the dash there is a large cover where the steering linkage passes thru. On the Outside of that cover at about the 2 o'clock position is where I drilled thru (from the inside under the dash). On my truck there is a piece of matting there but it was easy to pull it out of the way and replace once I was through. It put the hole under the Clutch master cylinder. I used a step bit and was able to pass the conduit with the wires from my sensors in it. Hope this helps someone
I don't understand why everyone makes their obs Ford pods aim towards the dome light. My Autometer pods do the same thing. This is ridiculous. I like to see my gages face me, not the center roof of the cab.
Thanks!! I was able to install while black out drunk
🤔
Amen brother
about to order the 4 gage kit and was worried about installing but this video couldn't have been more perfect lol

Perfect! I just ordered a 3 gauge set today for my 92!
How hard was it for you
This is excellent. Thanks for making this video.
The only downside to the 4 gauge pod in the OBS ford trucks is that it interferes with the side sun visor operation.
Well shit. I have a drop shelf on my visors. This is going to suck. And I just replaced my visors.
Hope you all realize 95% of people don't use letter and number drill bits. We use regular fraction sized.

Where does he pass through the firewall? Drilled a hole? How big and what size grommet?
Ok, what is the final size of that drill bit that you put into the manifold for the EGT sensor. Size "R" makes no sense.

What time is the coolant temp sensor
And the oil pressure install is missing also.

Is thier a way to get a tac Gauge instead of the tans temp Gauge?
Yes, you can mix and match whatever gauges you want.
So what for a 5 speed truck? Drill a whole in the cab?
What do you mean? There's always a way through the firewall

A step but and grommets, no big deal
What size fuse for the expandable circuit for the power circuits?
You will need to check your vehicle's fuses to see which one you need.
are you able to do this in a normal gas engine for a 1992 ford f150
Of course! You just wouldn't need the boost gauge but you could certainly choose another gauge to take it's place.
thank you m8 i will look into that in the summer of 2024 (when i have a job)@@GlowShift
How much do you charge to install in a Dodge Ram 2008 ?
Sorry, we do not do customer installations.

Easy on the plastics, damn i cringed every time the guy just ripped shit off.
What kind of crimper is that ??
Hozan P-707
Just saying this post is misleading. It’s not an Idi and has a complete different setup on Intake cover,Turbo.
is there an HPOP pressure gauge?
Sure is! www.glowshiftdirect.com/hpop-gauges/
