- A very short highlight videos of BF 109 Kills I had over the last month. I had so many good sorties and kills that it would have been a pity not to make a video about it.
Long time viewers notice that I used this music in the past. I used "Elysium 3" (Epidemic sound) on a War Thunder K-4 montage. I thought its a nice nod to the past of the channel.

After being shot down way too many times from P51's and P38's it was really nice to see the pain being brought to them in a compilation
K4, the king of the sky, the outclimber, the outturner, just the king. The only one which makes feel the mustang like a flying potato of 3 tons. Nice video!
Oh wow, a spotting of the elusive Feraphic, in it's natural habitat. The Feraphic, long feared to be extinct, has once again been seen in all it's majestic glory.
Great shooting Sheriff, I like your strategy of leading them slightly and walking the ammo down through them, it seems very effective, I'm going to try it.
Well..., thats how shooting works but you have to practice it a lot.🙂

Nice. In the opening scene, it looks like you get a reversal on a Mustang. But I can't figure out the maneuver you used.
not really a manoeuvre, the mustang broke off and underestimated my turn and climb performance.
@@SheriffsSimShack - I can understand why a Mustang would underestimate a K4 turn; the 109 seems to have a sweet spot where maneuverability is maxed out. What seems to baffle the mind is that a Mustang would underestimate a K4 climb.

GREAT scenes
1. Why not. The game gives me the option, so i use it.
2. You cant feel lever postions etc on your joystick. SO you have to look down to check. in the real plane a quick check with your hand would be sufficient, and checking with eyes would be more natural and quicker.
3. The game has some weird engine limits on certain engine regimes, so I am better sure in which setting I am running.

Not a big fan of the Mk108 ballistics-wise but when it connects... oof
I dont mind the 108, the 13mm are very good as well, and in hard deflections I only use those.

Hello mr sheriff. Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't a guncam supposed to be fixed on the sights and not move around with the pilot's head? This is more like a gopro mounted on the pilot's head
Its correct that a guncam isn't moving. But the term is kinda established for such a video. Cheers

Shall I buy Il-2? I am looking for a new WW2 since a while, I have found Hell Let Loose, but that's not comparable to a flight simulator. I think this is game I am looking for, but I'm not sure. I mean this game isn't cheap.
How many hours will it take me, approximately, that I am able to fly without crashing and dieing without enemy influence?
Will I find a wingman soon, someone who better than me, so I don't have to fly alone?

The game is quite challenging, you will have to learn alot. Get TrackIR as well and rudder pedals, and a good joystick obviously. But this game makes you feel like you are literally flying in WWII

@@catstopower For the beginning you dont need TIR and pedals, to get into the game a joystick with a twist is enough. If you really just want to see if the game is fun, you can buy the older packages and upgrade later. For cheap and good head tracking dont buy TIR but alternatives like the "delan clip" or "track hat".
Flying itself wont be that hard. This can be done within a day or two. Fighting its where its at, that takes weeks, months, years and decades :D

Yes.
Stupid question, Mustang has nothing to do agains a K4. K4 outclimb him, outturn him and can keep the dive capabilities of the mustang. The only good thing mustang has its fuel range lol
@@Big1_ Aircraft have pros and cons that are not completely obvious on paper. For example handling and pilot vision are not totally quantifiable and easily placed on a spreadsheet. so it is interesting to hear real (and virtual) pilot's opinions and put them in a historical context. These aircraft are from the same era and were direct opponents so it is a totally legitimate question. I would suggest making your points in a more civilized way, as I am quite sure you wouldn't be so quick to call a stranger's question 'stupid' face to face. So why act that way online?
@@Big1_ The Mustang is faster on some altitudes, has a better energy retention, rolls better at speed, has the better cockpit and canopy, A very fearsome enemy.
@@SheriffsSimShack dude, even Dora D9 outperforms Mustang... This is not a debate because everybody knows that K4 is better than Mustang. Even Ta 152 outperforms Mustang.
