I don't know Joe. To me, they lose a little of the Jeep identity, which is a miss. Huge price tag, and I'm not too sure how that'll go. To me, the more successful EV that I think is coming soon is the Jeep Recon offroader, which looks more like a Jeep and is like the size of a Renegade. On top of that Im sure it will be more affordablethan this. Don't see the purpose of this vehicle honestly. Not needed at this time.
I see a future where battery replacements are more expensive than buying another car. How long before that happens? I don't think that EV's will have a used car market. Then what?

This was originally planned as the cherokee replacement.. now they are doing a GC refresh with EV in mind and new Cherokee that might look close to this but without all of the fancy bits
I give credit to the aerodynamics of this SUV with the spoiler covering the rear window so that no rear wiper is needed! It's such a smart design and definitely sleek from the top going back... like an exotic car! 😎 👍
I'm still not sold on EVs, but this is the only BEV that I will buy. I'm a big Jeep fan and they did a fantastic job on this. It looks like a Jeep and it looks sporty. And it is $30,000 less than what I thought.
Even though the exterior design takes aerodynamics into consideration, Jeep should have made the Wagoneer S boxy (like the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models). Rivian does the same thing with the boxy, rugged design in the R1S, so a boxy Wagoneer S would be good to compete against the R1S for a rugged EV.

I don't need all the fancy electronics, heated vibrating seats that will give you a pedicure while you're listening to Liberace and on auto. Give me the EV with full interior vinyl package; floor, seats and ceiling that you can clean out with a fire hose. Keep the blasters so I can listen to the Grateful Dead. Tt&t under $50K so I can find reasonable insurance and still afford to stash a mahi sandwich, unsweetened tea, (and a twinkie). Like you I live in FL, so it needs to have enough height to clear a gator. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
I rented this jeep and was extremely impressed. It's the best SUV on the market... ride quality, engine power, interior luxuries and cabin space are unmated.

I’d love it with the metallic blue and a white or lighter interior, the new Acadia Denali style. I just rented and drove 2500 miles in a wagoneer across a few States and loved it. The only experience I dislike is the service center, having to deal with Jeep is a nightmare especially compared to the great service at my current Landrover and past BMW dealership. I’m going to go with an electric vehicle for my next one… they have a lot of competition in this price range. If the electric vehicles had a different place to be serviced I’d consider this one. 15 years of owning jeeps in the past, not sure if I can go back to the chaos of their service centers.
Beautiful, but the trim above the tail light (right side) doesn't line up with the trim over the passenger rear fender. I hope Jeep's production models catch it. I watched it again. Upon closer inspection, I think the hatch wasn't fully closed.

Well BEV is being used for pure battery electric vehicles with motors and no engines. The other categories would be Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) or Hybrid which is (HEV). Both of those have batteries, electric motors, be a gas engine.
Finally someone to make a car with beautiful dashboard, I think Jeep should make one like this with gasoline powered engines also. I would say keep that engineer who created it because he is talented.

Call me crazy but I think I’d prefer a 2019 Trackhawk. I’m in no way some insane car enthusiast who reminisces about the good ol days and think EVs are the scum of earth, but I remember a year ago eating dinner at a restaurant and hearing a Trackhawk fire up outside (we were next to a hotel and the restaurant had these massive windows) and it sounded absolutely nasty, garnered stares from the entire restaurant. I fell in love 😅

Positive: Great sleek headlight design Luxury feel interior with heated and ventilated front and rear seats, massage seats too? Maybe I misheard that. Cargo space looks decent. Panoramic sunroof. Cons: No fog lights. While the rear seats have heated/ventilated seats, the rear control box is lacking a few things, no climate control, no knobs, no fan control, especially for this being a $70k vehicle.. Not sure this vehicle is worth $70,000+ though, especially with all the dealer markups and stuff, this thing can easily be an $80k+ vehicle which will sit on the lot and eat dust… Overall, I’d rate this vehicle at a 4/10…
Only complaint I’ve got is the front grille and the name. It could have been designed to look a little more Jeep Grand Cherokee like but not exactly the same. Think it would have been labeled better as the grand Cherokee EV replacement rather than the 4xE ones they have out now with only 20-30 mile range..
I would honestly get one of these or the unreleased Jeep recon IF it had a hurricane engine in it SO or HO in a trailhawk trim. Otherwise a 2.4l hybrid and EV version can rot on the car lot like everything else

FYI this vehicle is made in Mexico and I can told you that this is really fast, the torque that you reach is very high compared with other vehicles!!
