My bestfriend wrote this song for me a while ago, every lyric is symbolic or based on true things that happened, I am happy to tell you recently I was able to get away from my mother's abuse after authorities started taking my words seriously, now there's a protection order against her and I won't have to see her until I'm 18! Thank you for your support, it means a lot
I never have any problem with my mum, in fact I can tell anyone my relationship with my mum is the depiction of a healthy relationship between child and parents. However some of the lyrics inside the song struck me, it give me goosebumps. I cant fanthom how scared you must be to endured the neglect and abused by someone you called 'mom'. I hope your doing well and surrounded with people who love and support you.
Thank you so very much, things have recently got a lot better for me, even though I am dealing with multiple mental and physical disabilities I am blessed to have an amazing father and great friends that are there for me, even though I may be failing school, I've been getting better
Recently I got away from the abuse, after an incident where I almost took my own life and my mother neglected that, Authority finally listened to my voice and now I have a protection order against my mom, now I don't have to see her until I'm 18 and I've been getting better although still struggling with some depression, it's a lot better than I was before
