Today's doll was supposed to be my main Halloween project... buuut I am late so she will be my ONE YEAR ANIVERSARY PROJECT instead :D
Yes - my channel is now officially one year old and I am not that much of a noob anymore.... I think....
Anyway - today I present to you a beautiful woman impostor - a sea monster that prays on lonely sailors, lost on a misty sea...
There were a lot of "learning new stuff" moments, as always and I managed to make the heaviest and creepiest doll stand in my entire (one year old...) career!

This is gorgeous, and incredibly freaky. Good job. I don't know if it's on purpose, but I love the unnatural red hair color, really vibrant like poison and venomous creatures with bright colors, while the fish has mostly muted colors to blend in with the water and seafoam

i don't know of this was on purpose or just coincidence, but there's also a superstition amoung sailors that redheaded women are harbingers of misfortune as well!

The sponge for the sea foam was SUCH a good idea. It really does look so similar to it! This is such a gorgeous, ambitious project for your channel's anniversary and it turned out so wonderfully!

I did Electronic repair for 17 years, what I saw in this video regarding your wiring of the 'smoke machine' was really of quite a high standard. Soldering every joint, heatshrinking each joint. The amount of terrifying wiring I came across in my earlier career by so called qualified techs was truly terrifying.

Super interesting how you shrunk her head - I've never thought to do that before! Usually I prefer the more cartoony look, but here it made her look so much more realistic, which works so well with your style! Creepy and beautiful - an awesome combo!
not gonna lie id be one of the sailors who got baited and eaten :p shes gorgeous! and i love the concept so much, it's like one of those fish with the light bait but more hard core

Aha! You’ve done such a wonderful job yet again!! I absolutely love Homer, and the ingenious way that you’ve combined the doll stand as part of the project once again!! I’ve seen several Anglerfish doll makeovers, but never with one as the bait! I love the sea foam that you’ve added to her- very smart and clever way to appease the TH-cam overlords. I absolutely love the creepy veins on the stem that’s suspending her! The fog machine is brilliant and so intimidating, I’m so proud that you managed to persevere and finish it!

Wow! Stunning! I have a thing about creepy deep sea creatures. I was terrified swimming in a lake that had very active alligator gars. We kept catching them while fishing. Yeesh... their scales.... their jagged spears of teeth. Your siren lure hits the nail on the head for me! I love it! And that leap down was a 'busted' cat leap heh. And it appeared to be kitty revenge.... lol.
I would be scared of swimming there too! Luckily we don't have any gators in Poland :) And my cats love to chew on to my eva foam...

The idea for this doll is SO creative! I absolutely love how it turned out. Gives me the chills with how real it looks and just the idea of it being real. The sea monster is so creepy. I love how its eyes and teeth/mouth turned out. The "seafoam" covering her body parts was very clever. She definitely captures that "come hither" look. Once again you've outdone yourself, Marzena! I know this is an older video, but I have to watch *something* while I wait for a new video from you, so I'll settle with rewatching all of your older videos!

Oh I loved that artists works, you're very lucky to have a book of his works. Many of the older one's are out of print, some get limited reprints, but yes he is amazing fantasy artist.

I like your cosplayer-makeup artist uproach to doll customising, cause I'm a cosplayer familiar with the materials and techniques myself, but I'm too clumsy to make tiny details on dolls (and on my props too)

Your drawing, erasing, drawing again, erasing, is so relatable. Some days I feel.... floppy. Arms like jello, fingers stiffening, just an off day. A hint with soldering, use flux! It really makes things flow and stick. I love the end result. So unique and creepy!

i have read hundreds of sword and sorcery/fantasy novels, and the best and my most fave covers were all from boris. but my fave artist has got to be mucha. the beautiful women and the flowing lines of his work is simply ethereal. while you work in a very different medium, i do also really enjoy your work as well.
this is not a doll custom and homer is not a stand, this is an entire sculpture and it's amazing! the smoke machine is such a nice touch!!

First of all....Hello from Prince George British Columbia Canada!! I have truly enjoyed watching your videos. The artistic process is such fun to see. I'm a big fan of Boris Vallejo's art.....been collecting his calendars for years...um I think 1992 was the first one. So I know what you are talking about when you mention him. Keep going down the creepy road......you do such a good job of it!! Thank you for your videos.....they help me get off my butt and in to the shop to work on stuff for the house. I like to build things that make life a wee bit better in or around the house. I just finished a shed for outside storage, and tomorrow I start on new closet/pantry. Thanks again for what you do!
