Why weren't Barbies like this when we were growing up? It would've made a big difference 💜
I agree! It would have saved 2 or 3 Barbies I had before age 10. Esp. since my childhood was back in the 70s, no president or doctor Barbie back then. I got tired of typical roles for women they gave Barbie and wanted more of action figures. I remember wanting a warrior or spy Barbie but not even a soldier Barbie (at least not by 1984, last time I got one) so I ... improvised. Being under age 10 I wasn't very good at it ! XD, so when I future BIL found two dolls he was confused why one was wraped up in electrical tape and another had used a pantyhose to sew a short dress. He was still confused when I told him I didn't want a homemaker Barbie, nor a vetinarian, but a spy and an amazon.

@@Katzztar I agree!!! I got a Princess Leia Barbie & Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and she had some little weapon and other items so did he…it was the most magical dolls and I had a blast with them in 1978.
I don’t think they made post apocalyptic Barbie. Can you imagine Grandma,”What do you want for Christmas?” And your six y/o self says “Post apocalyptic Barbie.”???😮😮😮I didn’t play much with Barbie dolls I made up stories with my stuffed animals instead.
Because they wouldnt fit the standard of pretty for back then.

Have you tried shrinking monster high dolls' heads? I don't remember the proportions for the solution but Catmeleon Studio does this all the time, i really recommend for you to check her out. You could use monster high heads, I personally think they look better in projects

With the big head problem- you could try using pure acetone to shrink the heads. If you soak them in alcohol for a few hours then take them out and let the acetone evaporate they shrink down.

I hope Clawdeen's head and Barbie's body get to find a home in another project sometime! For whatever reason, I always have that tiny-sadness for people-looking toys when they get taken apart.

I've started shrinking the Monster High heads when I remake them as I also find them too big but I'm not good enough with my sculpting so I sew the outfits.
