    This is my video I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how good this phone seems. It's photos aren't terrible. It has fairly decent performance and it runs Android 14. You couldn't really ask for much more than a small phone. And it would be a really cool if companies started picking up the idea of small phones again. If this is what a Kickstarter campaign can get you, imagine what Samsung or Apple could do for small phones.

    great review and I'm considering purchasing either the iPhone 13 Mini or the Unihertz Jelly Max. I'm unsure if the camera quality of the Jelly Max matches up to the 13 Mini. I've had disappointing experiences with few Unihertz phones before, so I'm more cautious now when considering this brand. However, this particular phone seems to have an impressive camera.

    This was what I've thought about a 5" phone while using my Galaxy S5 which had thick forehead and chin

    I feel like I'm watching someone that's a mix between Seth Everman and DJ Qualls. Also, nice review.

    It also gets the prize for the fatest 5g phone. People still suprise me for finding ways to earn money filling stupid needs. A phone that looks like a 2009 phene with low specs that just happens to have 5g.

      This phone isn't for everyone. But it does fill a whole left by large companies because they don't think this range is as profitable for a high spec smaller device. The Kickstarter wouldn't go as well as they do if there wasn't real interest.

    The form factor of this phone is 100% "what if a Galaxy S1 got a baby with a Nokia 5230" x).
    Also, XS are way too old to comapre to, even an iPhone 11 pro was like 190 grams.

      Yeah, I unfortunately don't have a newer iPhone to compare. Granted, the newer iPhones hurt a lot more if you drop them on a toe. The case I was using was about 10g I think, so the difference still isn't that large.
      The key takeaway is the Jelly Max feels heavy for the size. But how the shell is made, you also won't have major wounds dropping it. :-p

      @@bitterepic Newer iphones are still lighter as they also roam around 180-200, I think the material have more to do with that than the weight, getting hit by 200grams of plastic do feel like it would be better than getting hit with 200 grams of a insanely hard titanium or stainless steel for the iPhone Pros ahah.

      I get 261Mbps download and 30Mbps upload on 5G. (According to Ookla, speedtest.net)

      Not really sure what you're talking about. Did I say that? The tag line is "Smallest 5G Phone" from the maker.

    Headphone jacks are such a basic and obvious necessity on a phone that they must be doing taking them out on purpose.
    HOW TF ARE YOU ADDING NFC CHARGING AND NOT FUCKING HEADPHONE JACKS!! I don't know 1 single person who uses nfc charging yet that's what you add.?

    • @bitterepic
      @bitterepic  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That did factor into my review and I think it bothers the Jelly community in general. It creates problems for me often daily.
      I would feel that USB-C is less evil if it at least worked when plugged into a computer. But it doesn't with the included plug. At least it is less horrible than thunderbolt, which you can literally only use for a iphone/ipad.

    • @maukachauka8793
      @maukachauka8793 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@bitterepic yes it's also the fact that it's so thick that really no one would think that there isn't enough space for the addition of a headphone jack.

      3rd party USB-C converters may work for audio playback but not for calls often.

    Nothing CMF Phone costs $250 and is 3 times better and 10 times better looking. this looks like a toy phone or 20 year old smartphone. Its not cheap, its not good and it looks terrible, its thick and its has a shitty small display.

    • @bitterepic
      @bitterepic  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Can you please supply the model to search for? I'm not seeing anything comparable to the Jelly Max and the cheapest one looks like it is $350. But none of them look like they are trying to be a small phone with high end specs. Thank you, I'll look at it if you get a chance to get back to me.
      Frankly, there are a lot of large smart phones that are cheap and have relatively good specs. I think that is the easy phone to make

      The small screen is the main reason to buy a Unihertz phone. That Nothing phone is huge.

      It's amazing how delayed some people are. Of course there are much larger phones with better specs. But they are much larger!

      No one is selling you Unihertz.. this is part of a niche community that loves small phones.. I use an iPhone 13 mini which itself feels big. I truly appreciate the creator for this video. Btw, CMF has an average processor that is being sold with some plastic gimmicks, just like those ugly light bulbs on Nothing. For 250$, IQOO, Realme, and POCO have phones that can smoke CMF out.
