Porter Robinson is more than my favorite artist, his music has helped me overcome difficult times where darkness invaded even the depths of my soul. Nurture was the light that covered me and protected me from those negative feelings, they were hugs turned into songs, comforting words that made me see the sky clearer and brighter. I will always support him in everything he does, Porter is an incredible human being and with this song I hope more people know the fantastic art he expresses.
Im a huge fan of emotional lyrics. Never listened to Porter before but i should maybe check his discography.
Both his Worlds and Nurture albums have amazing songs and lyrics. Highly suggest you to start there :)

when you mentioned it a bit toned down than the nurture single, maybe that's why i liked it? i kinda like that it's not as grandiose
and maaan the vocals, hearing him at his most rawest is just impeccable, it really shows that he is getting better at his singing, love it sm

One of the things that really kept me from fully getting into Nurture was the vocals and way he pitched them (sure I liked something comforting and mother, but the other popular songs people really liked, I never did)
This on the other hand is actually so amazing to me, love the regular raw sounding vocals from him

The best Porter vocals I've heard aside from Look at the Sky. It sounds like a more sad version of Musician while sounding a bit less messy to me. I already see this becoming BO2022 material for me.

Honestly, I am a little underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, I like it and it's incredibly wholesome, and I can't even pinpoint what exactly it is that feels a little of? I dunno :))
Yah, for me too. I mean as a song it's great, but for Porter Robinson it's not really blowing my mind like his other stuff does. Still very good, but I think some people especially in the comments were overreacting.
I think my only complain is it's a bit too short.
It's a cute song. I'm no league fan so maybe it isn't hitting as hard as it should for me.
There are more parts of the song in here than there are in the star guardian version, the added verses threw me off a little.
I don't exactly agree that it comes off the nurture era.... at all? There isn't any of the vocaloid, and it's a lot faster and more upbeat. The only thing is shares is the lyrical nuance / writing imo. And the guitar? I think just the usage of guitar is the only parallel I see with do-re-mi
hearing a full track with his organic voice makes me so pissed he used that stupid pitch changer on all the songs of his most recent album. his normal voice is so much better.
