Nice one Paul.I have 8 of these,none with metal wheels though.Only two are crane truck's,one is original while the other is all white with Esso labels.3 are in Pickfords colours as ballast lorries,the last 3 are also ballast lorries,but mated to Scammell cabs!
Who else thought the hook was going to come out of the mould silver when the aluminium powder was added? - lovely restoration- the box too is awesome. Nice to see the rarer silver wheels on this one - normally the hubs are red plastic. - I have the Kingsize ERF K-13 cement truck with the silver hubs. I do own one of these in very good original condition as well. Love what you do.

Thank you very much. I make the boxes myself. I make templates and put photos found on the internet in them. then I scale it in a graphics program and assemble such a box. when it comes to the tip for making the axis, I drilled a cone in the screw with an M6 drill bit, and then slightly rounded it with a diamond ball for dremel. It is not necessary at all, because after some time the hole rounds itself. kind regards

The metal wheels probably don't suffer from the shrinkage, the plastic wheels do. And the subsequent lost or loose tyres.
