I think what your comparing in Hello Daliah and Mocha Rouge are the Metropolitan(HD) and the Weekender(MR). LMHB0907 posted a video called "Vera Bradley Metropolitan Review" and it is exactly the same bag as what you are calling the old style Weekender.The Hello Daliah is a Metropolitan and the Mocha Rouge is a Weekender. I hope this helps.

Victoria, I think it might be a little big for a dance bag unless you take like a change of clothes and quite a few toiletries. It is a pretty big bag. GiGi
Is the new one really huge? I am short 5'feet so wondering new one after fully packed one will be too big and bulky. I like the old in size after your review but love the strap of the new.
