If your LS is rear sump you need nothing (besides maybe a cooler) as far as oiling . If it's front sump... you'll need more. Also, mounting an oil cooler with the fittings on the bottom is not ideal, it will not self bleed and you may only end up putting oil through half of the passages.

Long tube headers, Straight pipe to a magnaflow muffler and pie cut turn down dump

This is nice; I aspire to switch to an LS engine soon; but considering the amount of rusty abuse cars go through here in Ontario; I'm not sure my 21 year old E46 will survive to see the day :(

Dude do NOT mount your oil cooler upside down. Only sideways or right side up. Otherwise the oil cavitates or just flows across the bottom two rows or so and not the whole core.
Understandable if oil pressure was not a factor. Thank you for your opinion!

Also, headlight restoration is useless. Clear coating the lens is the only way to do it correctly, ESPECIALLY in Florida sunshine.
We agree. This was a quick fix and we didn't get a chance to clear coat afterwards.
I love how good you guys are but a GM motor in a Bmw hurts me to the core lol.. so easy to build a S54 and soo much cooler. I know and get why but still LS swaps are so common now when you see a competitive car you go "and its not a LS"
Well... an LS is easier to work on, parts are cheaper, there already was an ls in there so wiring is mostly the same and texas speed had the motor all ready to go. They needed to swap it in like 3 days. Timing and reliability is why its in there. It's a rental so it has to be simple, easy to fix, and work.
All engines are great. This came with an LS from the previous owner. There are pros and cons for all engines.
@@DriftHQ Yes as I said I understand why and I get it.. no hate at all. I legit just get sorta let down when I see a bmw and hear "ls" personal.. love you guys... keep doing man.. Just not a fan of LS swaps in cooler cars than the engine swapped into them But again I get 100% why
