White American cis males are the most protected group in comedy or 'insert any other facet of American life'. We just don't say these things because standup comedy is essentially bullying people in the guise of comedy and it's not a thing in most every other culture. It's either just speak our mind straightforwardly or keep it to ourselves. Every other group has that decorum except for White American male comedians for a time. And now every one is joining in on the bullying. American White cis male are the least made fun of because they are the majority demographic in stand-up and it's not appealing making fun of yourselves obviously. It isn't the full story, but the perspective is right on. It was Redban's secret show, Peng Dang was on it, it was "his" audience. Tony did an unannounced drop in workout spot. The same people laughing at Peng's jokes were the same people laughing at Tony's abrasive roasts. Peng clipped Tony's "set" to make it look as bad as possible, including removing laughter. It almost worked, but now Kill Tony is as big as it has ever been.
Bobby speaks so sophisticated on the subject. Im stunned.

Right when Kobe died I went to Walmart and bought a brand new expensive Lifeproof case for my IPhone, went out to my car, opened it up and swapped it out with my old shitty case I’d been using. I went right back in and returned it. The girl in customer service was like wait why is this case all old and beat up? I said exactly! It was like that when I bought it. She paused and looked at me funny. Then I hit her with OMG did you hear about Kobe?? I can’t believe this happened! And she was yes I’m so upset I can’t believe it either. Then she just took the return and gave me back my $70. Worked like a charm babyyyyy. I’m going to hell.
