David Lucas was born in Macon, GA. He started acting an early age, performing in numerous stage plays at the Macon Little Theatre. He relocated to Hollywood where he was a contestant on, “MTV Yo Momma”. He has since written for several television shows and continues to perform stand up all over the country (for such comedians as Louis CK, Erik Griffin, Joe Rogan, Brendan Schaub, Tony Hinchcliffe, Bert Kreisher, DL Hughley and many more) He is a regular on Kill Tony. I playfully heckled a comedian with his own joke, and the room started dying. It caught me off guard, it was a lucky spot impossible to resist. But he got MAD , and started raising his voice so i just put food in my mouth. I didn't mean to completely melt him down. This guy did his best. A little bit can be funny because it feeds the performance material and gets the audience on their side. Too much becomes one big distraction and now you got 4 people involved in jokes you haven't prepared. 😂

If you're failing at that objective, you ain't funny and you're a bad comedian. Seems like this comedian just got triggered and wanted to trigger the heckler back. It's definitely possible to make a George Floyd joke be funny. That had no punchline and wasn't a joke, it was just contrarian and designed to make the heckler look like a bad example of a black guy. Wasn't a joke and if you think it was, you don't know what a joke is. I don't think anyone liked it, I think there was nervous laughter and right in that moment, you could see the tension rise.
