Very sad he has passed. He had a long life. A career doing what he loved, bringing joy to many in the world, and 53 years with the woman he was in love with, plus father to three children, grandfather to four. Regarding his comment that he was not religious, you can be spiritual and not be religious.

His answers are consistent with many other Leos. The religious outlook, the commitment to a monogamous relationship and the health conscious diet. You can hear the stabilizing results in his voice. Juicing organic celery releases you from the sugar bondage. I used to crave all that stuff. The more sugar you eat the hungrier it makes you. I finally feel free, juice organic celery...first thing in the morning, 1/2 hour before eating. It can make you look and feel decades younger!

Fascinating to hear BJ saying he was not religious but I know exactly what he meant. Religious practices and rituals are side tracking the Gospel Truth and I do believe BJ still believed in Jesus Christ until the day he died.

Joe Halecki It's as though BJ purposely distanced himself from that songs Christian meaning. If he is no longer a believer than you wouldn't expect him to make christian delcarations. Maybe he just meant that he wasnt religious and what that means in the common vernacular. Interesting indeed.

Joe--you need to use more periods when you construct sentences.

@@maninthewilderness3208 BJ professed Christ. In the 70's there was no doubt..but in many of his latest interviews, he somewhat disclaims his previous relationship with the Lord JESUS :(

@@wecanonlywish9194 I must look into that.I think he professed Jesus but he wasn't religious. Just as I am not religious either because I don't do rituals. But I am a Christian, Saved by the righteousness and the blood of the Lamb and my Messiah Jesus Christ !
