Honestly I think the idea of a host club would work well in the US if the hosts were just like friendly, outgoing party starters and not just about flirting. Like the amount of times I’ve wanted to go out but didn’t have friends available - this type of setup would have been perfect!

Taizo is apparently under Fuyutsuki DenZo, the host club that Connor and his team went to. Apparently, he's top 13 under the Fuyutsuki group holdings which is actually impressive in itself. Though I don't think he's really the top dog since ranks can easily change. Also, I think the VP still actively works but as a Daihyo, meaning that he already graduated but you can still take him as shimei, but with the condition that you'll be spending A LOT.

LOL. He's such a British guy. I lived in London for a year, and that is one thing about British guys--most of them DO NOT flirt. Honestly connor you're good at conversation, the main issue here is the obvious language barrier, if you had done this after a few years of learning japanese you'd have probably killed it, but then again it's obvious knowing the language would have made it a million times better on you.
Yeah, he did really good with that one lady at the end since she also spoke english. Not being able to fluently speak Japanese was hindering him.
Connor was AWFUL at conversation. The only thing he was doing right was being foreign and being exotic looking.

We all need to sit and appreciate the amount of emphasis that Conner put on the dangers of drinking alcohol. There's a lot of younger viewers here and it's good to know he's making an effort to send a good message to younger people here like myself.

I think connor would have needed to play the "british prince charming" type of guy. He has the looks, a great voice and some charm; he just shot himself in the foot by getting nervous and making meta jokes about things being awkward.
