I just wanna say P.M. Seymour improved the Mega-man clip so much that I actually felt hurt by his scream. I wanted to cheer him on, desperately clutching a blanket. The others had some improvements as well. The Video one, that just-it’s better??? Sailor Moon, the sounds were crunchier and had a stronger kick, the pace was still too fast, but you’ve made some improvements to it. I like them. The worst black guy mp4 has improved massively. Maybe if the music was there it’d have some more spark to the original but you did what you could. I love the ad-libbed part sounds more natural, and the Japanese voice hits so close to the original.

Cheap videos, made with only one camera angle and no movement, makes TH-cam look cheap, so they promote videos that look fancy, wich means lots of camera changes.
I think in this context he thought it was not quite good because of the way it overall sounded, you know, the very weird lines. I think with what he had he definietly did really good.

I think you did a wonderful job improving the sailor moon clip. I got shivers (like in a positive way lol) while watching that. It's become emotional whilst the original's cringe. The improved voice of the male lead sounded really firm, better paced and toned. Loved it!

Honestly, I felt like Cipher was a marked improvement on the delivery. Also, I would love to see these same scenes done with a little more creative liberty taken. Keep it thematically the same, but change the lines/other effects as needed to try to improve the scene as a whole.
Definitely agree about that Sailor Moon clip. The dialogue still sounded really awkward and weirdly paced, but that fight was hella good. The weird and unnatural screams in the original just felt really akward and the "improved" version sounded a lot more natural imo
RecoveringChristian No ya definitely, even though I love Christina Vee, I don’t like her voice as Mars. I think the overall direction of their voices was improved (and obviously the script) but the voices from the original dub were better (except in Sailor Moon S- what happened with Usagi jEez)
anneme Christina in the Crystal dub was a revelation, soo good. Don't know why she phoned in her performance for nearly the first have of the original series VIZ dub. When the viz sailor stars dub trailer came out I was not shocked to hear Sailor Moon and the main villain had the exact same voice, among others even though it had already been 5 plus years. The old dic dub aired 1995-1997. Iconic. What came after in 1998/1999 was a precursor to The CLOVERWAY dub in 2000 a screeching waking nightmare of a dub 😨
I mean nothing wrong with getting an actual black man to voice for an black male character. That should be normal practice-- it's a shame that it's not. I get budget cuts and characters with unclear racial and/or ethnic backgrounds, but when it's obvious, why not do it right?

It should be best left for "the most suitable voice" deciding factor rather than putting inhibiting practices that may backfire. My only suggestion for this clip (obligatory not a VA, but I do write a metric ton of creative we ting, including screenwriting) would be to take the "breakfast" as a joke. Guy one rambles off some really weird stuff and the twin laughs off the "okay okay" and then delivers the peanut butter line with sarcasm. It would give it some personality and make it sound like an inside joke that we don't get because we're not them. Even then, that would only bump it up a littttttttllleee bit more if any. That clip is just trash.
9/10 on all. You way improved them. For Moon, you had way better lip sync and it sounded way better on the timing. The last video was way better too but you miss synced the foot steps. All in all, very good job dude.

i think he would spend more money asking for a commission to an online guitarist than on the cd and drive that he ended up buying. i think the real loss here is the time and energy he spent. at least now he has a cd drive which might come in handy in the future, and the soundtrack itself might be good.

I think you did a wonderful job improving the sailor moon clip. I got shivers (like in a positive way lol) while watching that. It's become emotional whilst the original's cringe. The improved voice of the male lead sounded really firm, better paced and toned. Loved it!

Honestly, I felt like Cipher was a marked improvement on the delivery.
Also, I would love to see these same scenes done with a little more creative liberty taken. Keep it thematically the same, but change the lines/other effects as needed to try to improve the scene as a whole.
Definitely agree about that Sailor Moon clip. The dialogue still sounded really awkward and weirdly paced, but that fight was hella good. The weird and unnatural screams in the original just felt really akward and the "improved" version sounded a lot more natural imo

RecoveringChristian No ya definitely, even though I love Christina Vee, I don’t like her voice as Mars. I think the overall direction of their voices was improved (and obviously the script) but the voices from the original dub were better (except in Sailor Moon S- what happened with Usagi jEez)
anneme Christina in the Crystal dub was a revelation, soo good. Don't know why she phoned in her performance for nearly the first have of the original series VIZ dub. When the viz sailor stars dub trailer came out I was not shocked to hear Sailor Moon and the main villain had the exact same voice, among others even though it had already been 5 plus years.
The old dic dub aired 1995-1997. Iconic. What came after in 1998/1999 was a precursor to The CLOVERWAY dub in 2000 a screeching waking nightmare of a dub 😨

I mean nothing wrong with getting an actual black man to voice for an black male character. That should be normal practice-- it's a shame that it's not. I get budget cuts and characters with unclear racial and/or ethnic backgrounds, but when it's obvious, why not do it right?

It should be best left for "the most suitable voice" deciding factor rather than putting inhibiting practices that may backfire. Granted there aren't that many black anime VAs that voice asian or white roles to begin with though.

My only suggestion for this clip (obligatory not a VA, but I do write a metric ton of creative we ting, including screenwriting) would be to take the "breakfast" as a joke. Guy one rambles off some really weird stuff and the twin laughs off the "okay okay" and then delivers the peanut butter line with sarcasm. It would give it some personality and make it sound like an inside joke that we don't get because we're not them. Even then, that would only bump it up a littttttttllleee bit more if any. That clip is just trash.
