Have you flown SQ in business or first? If so, what you're favourite Book the Cook meal? If you haven't flown SQ, what's the best airline meal you've ever had?
You will LOVE the burger. It was seriously delicious. Mine was anyway. I was way too full to finish it so ate the cheese and patty and left the bun. Haha
Awesome trip report. Your love for Singapore Airlines is just like my love for ANA. I haven't flown with SQ yet, but when I do, I think I'll have another favorite airline. They're definitely top airline. This suite looked a bit smaller, but I'm sure there's not much difference to their newer business class suite.
I am actually embarrassed to admit that I've never flown ANA. The times I've visited and flown through Japan has been with other airlines. I've always wanted to fly and experience a Japanese airline as I've heard their service and food is next level.
Next time you fly SQ business from Melbourne, you should use Air NZ lounge which is next to SQ lounge. They are much bigger, you can see planes and 100 times better than SQ dungeon lounge. They are both Star Alliance so you can use it. I saw that on one of Aussie flight review TH-camr and tried myself too.
Hey Tim, a huge congratulations to you both!! You must've trained Mark well for him to like congee 😊 Loved your video as always. Have you ever considered a train travel? I've just been on the Indian pacific train, had a fabulous time! Regards Erika from sunny Perth 😎
OHHHHH THANK YOU! It has been a truly magical time. I couldn't have asked for more. Everything turned out to be better than we even thought possible. I actually don't like congee at all. haha It reminds me of being sick. Mark LOVES IT! I really do love train travel, and i did a train travel video when I was last in Scotland and Malaysia.
@TimEatsandTravels haha, yes plain congee is the magic Asian cure for when one is not well. I don't like plain congee, but congee with century old egg and pork would be my favourite. You would love the food on the Indian Pacific train .
Great show very entertaining! I love your taste in food although I prefer promote. I would have found the time to consume that bottle of wine in the hotel room. Just saying! 😎
Should you ever see it on the Book The Cook, you must order it. It's absolutely delicious. What you didn't see in the video was that it was TOO big for me to finish. I actually only ate half the burger and then forced myself to down the patty. It was huge and seriously so good.
A nice report Tim. I'm fortunate to fly six to eight business class SQ flights each year from CNS or BNE. The food is always amazing especially out of SIN. I always book the cook and love Chicken Biryani. I'm not so impressed with their seats. I just want to recline and make it a bed, and not rely on a flight attendant to fold down the seat. The awkward positioning to put my feet is just messy. And that pointless thing that blocks out the view out of the window. Just why?
Oh wow, you are incredible lucky. I wish my work would fly me in business class with SQ. Alas, it is all private funding for my air-ventures. I am a huge fan of chicken briyani but the dish I book the most of BTC is Nasi Lemak or Bak Kut Teh. Both are seriously SO good. I couldn't agree with you more re regional config business class wings. It actually makes NO sense for it to be on the window side.
@@TimEatsandTravels But I do fly SQ business class self funded and purely for leisure purposes. Am currently in South Korea and flying home at the end of next week. I’ve noticed the fantastic satay sticks are now offered on some routes and not others. They were offered flying out of CDG recently but rarely out of Oz. Book the cook is fantastic and the widest choice and best quality food always seems be when flying out of SIN. It’s been my favourite airline for a very long time now. Looking forward to your next flight review.

Satay when it’s not on the regular menu 🤤
If for breakfast then definitely bak kut teh
I ever flown with business class in this flagship but never in one of A350. The A330 before being retired and also B777. Sadly they retired the A330.
Omg I gasped when I saw that you got the burger! Coz I've booked that for my future flight. I'm excited. 😂 Thank you!

@TimEatsandTravels 🤣🤣 you've got me very excited. I can't wait! Thanks for the awesome vid! They really do give so much food on business class. 🤣
It looks very comfortable in the sharper end of the aircraft! Thank you for the video and have a gala weekend!
Thank you, Daniel. It was certainly a very comfortable and delicious flight. The 7.5hrs literally flew by. Haha
Excellent trip report, loved it thank you!

I drank SO much the night before and I really struggled to even string a sentence together. hahaha I know, weak excuse to not drink that bottle!
First comment ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
WOOHOO! haha I hope you enjoyed my first travel video in a very long time.
@@TimEatsandTravels definitely I did thank you so much
I’ve always wanted to try the SQ burger but it’s never been available to book on my routes!
