ANC and over-ear earpieces for that price is terrific. Also, I found their website, and found that the (very minimal) user manual is available for download, which is very good. The user manual shows that there's a "NC" button, which is *_NOT_* a "multifunction button." Instead, it toggles between "ANC ON," "Pass-through" (a/k/a transparency), and "ANC OFF." That's a great feature in a headset of this price. But... 6:58 Dual device connection is an "experimental feature?" Ugh! That's an essential feature for anyone who has both a computer and a phone, and it also seems to be one of the features that manufacturers have the most trouble making work reliably. I don't want an "experimental" multipoint feature, I want it to be rock-solid reliable. It also appears that these (and 1More's other two SonoFlow models) lack a boom mic. That's a deal killer, for me. All the noise reduction tech in the world cannot replace an optimally positioned boom microphone. Oh, well.
After recently messing up the USB receiver for my current daily use Logitech headset (dont ask how, i'm just a klutz lol) it's unsurprisingly started to drop connection randomly. So after much hunting, then nearly pulling the trigger on different brands, I came across this review, and oh boy am I glad I did. This lead to me looking into them even further, which then lead me wasting no further time and finding I could apply TWO coupons on amazon for a whopping 30% off!! I was able to snatch these up for about a little over 95CAD after tax. Honestly even if i'm somehow let down (doubt I will be) the price is absolutely insane. Anyways Dave, thank you.
@@Aluren00 You might have to have Prime or maybe it depends on your region of the world, but it should be under the price as an option to apply a 20% coupon. Still shows this for me.
@AskDaveTaylor, I figured it out, you need to use the 1More app instead of the 1More Music app, it recognized the HQ51 right away and was able to enable LDAC 🤘
@AskDaveTaylor sounding better and hi-res is still to totally different things. But love video and i picked the 1more sonoflow pro over the soundcore space one because anker pays out to much money to get better reviews
Fair, but how do you know how much - if any - these companies pay influencers for reviews? For the record, 1More didn't pay me anything at all for this, or any review.
@AskDaveTaylor I'm a type of person that I do tons of research before I buy anything electronics .you see tons of videos that saids sponsored by soundcore and there is 1000's of comments that say the same thing about anker

How'd you get coupons?

Very good explanation. Likes from India.
When were these headphones released? What’s the release date?
Sept 2, 2024 release date.
Do you know when the 1More app will be update it so the HQ51 can be recognized by the app and be able to enable LDAC ?
I wish I did know. Lots of new audio tech showing up, so these companies gotta keep up!

Hi, whats the most important difference between this model and the normal one? And do you think this is better than the new edifier w830nb?
70 hours battery life vs 100 hours battery life... just read the specs
It's not 70$ The 1 more sonoflow pro headphones is 88$ plus shipping
Prices change. Sometimes it goes up. At least it's just a little bit more expensive.
Would you recommend these over sony wh-ch720n?
Alas, I don't have experience with the Sony headphones so can't help you out...
Yes they're better in sound and quality build @@AskDaveTaylor
Hi, would you choose this or the sony wh-ch720? or any other you personally recommend?
I don't have experience with those Sony headphones so can't help you out...
were these better then something like the Shure AONIC 40?
And would you say these are better then the original sonoflow? @AskDaveTaylor
You only get hi-res audio if you are streaming music for a hi-res music service if not your are not getting any benefit from it
It's still going to sound better simply because a device with better music reproduction will make all music sound better...

Excellent. Let us know how you like it, and don't forget to "break it in" with the app.
