- The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V was already a gem of a motorcycle. However, TVS has managed to make the bike even better by giving it some top-of-the-line technology and features, as part of its BS6 upgrade. So, what are the main differences between the new BS6 and the old BS4 versions? We've got them covered in this video.

Why did they change the design of the head lamp? Can I remove the 'eyebrows' on the bs-vi's headlamp? The bikes was more good looking with the previous headlamp. Sir pls respond to my question

Im confused which one to get ad my first bike. I love the new bs6 V, with tbe riding modes and stuff. But im getting really good deals on the old version. I dunno should i just wait till i get a good deal on the new one

The power difference is very marginal.

We've not had a chance to check out the BS6 Pulsar NS200, so can't give you a definitive answer to this question at the moment. Best you check out both bikes at your local dealer.

The BS6 version looks a little better, thanks to the new LED headlamp & position lamps
Bs4 is much better then bs6 ,, because LED headlight is not better for long distance visibility. And bs4 is more powerful output ....

Isn't the torque and bhp has gone down? How tht translate to better performance?
The torque is down, power is almost the same - on paper. But since the BS6 version is fuel-injected, the acceleration is definitely better than the BS4 carburetor version.
@@autoX no other reviewers have timed it, there is a drop in acceleration with bs6.
Does spilt seat decreases the comfort and more Powerful engine increases the vibration ? In rtr 200 !
The split seat is really comfortable for the rider, it's not too soft and not too hard so it's perfect and there's a lot of room
But there is less room for the pillon, and you kinda expect that in these bikes
Not actually meant for this purpose
The vibrations are minimal as far as I know
You can't feel anything unless you're really pushing the motorcycle beyond a 100 kmph

What should we do to make it comfort?
Use the choke as instructed in the user manual
Just let it hit 3000 rpm for 5 seconds and turn off the choke
Let it idle for sometime before you start driving
The choke is your best friend in this case.

We've done around 600kms on the RTR 200 in a single day with a pillion. Faced no issues in terms of comfort.

Not sure which one of the two is louder, but we think the BS4 model sounds a bit better, the BS6 model sounds much smoother & a bit mellow, in comparison.

Main difference is torque. Bs4 18.1 nm vs bs6 16.8 nm
Can I modify the gtt features /bluetooth in my old bs4 version .
There are no official retro-fit options available from TVS.

The rear seat is quite comfortable on the Apache RTR 200, so it should be good.

apache bs4 reach more top speed than bs6 , apache bs4 is equal to puslar ns200 in top speed. but both apache is very good at acceleration

The Apache 200 will induce more confidence while riding on the highway.

The exhaust sound has changed slightly, not the material.
BS4 is better in performance
The BS6 model feels quicker off the line
If the handling still the same.. I wont go for it. Probably the worst handling I've ever ride in off-road and extreme curve roads.
