I had completed 600 km in one day with pillion at a age of 38, and i dont think there was any prob during my trip...xpulse is far comfortable than apache, pulsar, rc and other bike ......

Great insights on both machines!! I have 2 questions: Which has a lower PILLION seat ? Which is the more refined mill? My cruising speed on highways is approx. 90Kmph so would appreciate if you could tell me which bike would be in its happy place cruising at 90-95

If you can improve seat comfort then the Xpulse 200 should be a good bike for touring. However, since the bike & its seating is quite tall, you need to check your comfort for riding in city traffic. It's best you take a thorough test ride before making a final decision.
I feel vibrations on unicorn 150 at 60 speed and 5th gear...my weight is 130 kgs..if I buy apache can i cruise at speed of 80 or 90? Without vibrations...and one more problem is luggage...how to fit panniers on apache...?? Absolutely noone builds pannies for apache..please help

It’s a refined motorcycle. Vibrations are minimal. U will feel vibrations only in redlines. You can tour in that motorcycle. I ride around 537 km In single stretch.

The Xpulse 200 loses big points for not being very comfortable over long distances. So, the Apache is the better choice.
@@autoX mods for apache is available? Like in saddle bags, panniers etc.. most of the TH-cams I have seen these kind for xpulse, Himalayan, ns200, dominor, KTM but not on apache's much.

If comfort is more important for you, go for the Apache RTR 200. Else, the XPulse can do the job as well.
Xpulse bs6 is much better... It can easily do commuting duties and take on the offroad with ease...

@@whiteshadow7892 It's not entirely false. Apache does has a good seat for the rider especially after 2020 models as they added more foam. The xpulse is upright but it's narrow seat hurts u in the long rides

We found the Xpulse's seat to be quite narrow and rather hard. So, long-distance touring can be a potential weak point. However, that's our take on it. Ultimately depends on the rider's preference.

I’m 6’2 and a bit healthy guy so I’m confused between these two .. apache is loaded with tons of features and has 2-3bhp more where as Xpulse has it’s nice road presence and off-road capabilities. I need to daily commute and i have mixed sort of roads in my city sometimes worst and some times great . So kindly help me to decide guys 🤥

The Apache RTR 200 has the upper hand due to better ride dynamics. The Xpulse feels heavy while riding, therefore less nimble as well.

I would have to disagree, apache is not unique in the segment there is bajaj 200ns which is even better in performance, I'm an xpulse owner and the bike is pretty good if you want to enjoy the ride and not the speed.

Not really. As we mentioned, both bikes are good in their own right. However, the Apache happens to be our pick for its sorted riding dynamics & build quality.
Xpulse build quality in bs6 far better....solid build 😎.xpulse is beast...no other bike except Himalayan is comparable for xpulse....

Guys this review is based out of BS-4 version of Xpulse. Things have remarkably improved in BS-6 version with FI only option, softer seat cushion, better refinement etc.
Narrower seat is on purpose and makes ground better accessible for not so tall guys and also in off road capabilities.
No matter if you are riding on a 'sofa' seat on a bike if ground clearance and suspension are not good, your back will definitely hurt. Look at the average condition of Indian roads and then decide!

Main thing about hero xpulse 200, bike is awesome!!! but service is pathetic. Worst experience.even chain sprocket is unavailable in Hyderabad city. Just imagine about other city condition , I'm waiting for main stand since Nov 2020. Another one just google oil leakage issue. My bike is suffering from oil leakage and Gaskit is unavailable In Bengaluru city

There is no point comparing an adventure bike to road bike. Wait till tvs comes with an adventure bike. Then we will see whats better than xpulse. Till then xpulse is xpulse and rtr is rtr.
