I have a stand alone garden tub. There is a outer shell, and the tub that fits inside the shell. Do I have to go underneath the trailer, which is a 2019. I have pics.
Cap it off and see if it works with the sink shower or toilet. If they all work cut the pipe below the floor. Then glue the cap on where you would have temporarily put the cap on before without glue. I believe you will be just fine. Usually that vent is put there to make sure it affects the tub because of the distance from the other vents across the room.
Is that "vent" for tub, shower and toilet? Sinks have their own. Capped with tape below floor but getting sewer gas after a shower, toilet not installed yet. Have rag over toilet hole but not tight. Gas could be from no toilet installed? If for all 3 could I run it under floor to outside or does height matter? Thx@@StraightArrowRepair
I'm in the process of replacing the faucet on my garden tub. But, the new faucets wont fit up. The tub has a metal water input that the water lines attach to and go up threw the tub's knob holes. This metal piece is not budging. Like hub nuts on the knobs are welded or so rusted I cannot get them to come loose in order to drop the whole piece. Any suggestions?
AND THE FIXTURES ON MINE HAVE BEEN LEAKING, all the time.I crank it as tight as possible & later have had floods of water running down the tub into the wood siding trim @ bottom of tub/tile meets, & it was a gap 10 years ago, when I moved in..this is an 89 Manufactured home, so they gave up on trying to repair waskers, ect.too There is no openeing to get to the plumbing...plumber says he will cut a hole in side wall by tub, & hope for the best..$150. to trouble shoot it..The fixtures look excellent new,no erosion ect..but center crome tub drain is pitted & sharp..We have hard water here in FLA.too..

Does the vent have to be reconnected in another location, I have 2 sinks in bathroom both have vents under sink, not sure about the shower?

can tub be cut in pieces to remove from bathroom? it is way too large to remove in one piece!
