just found your vid. BTW, the little holes are supposed to be covered by the upper grate.

Yes, my husband was saying that for beef it’s better to leave it uncovered so that the grill marks will be better. But chicken and pork should be cover. That’s just base on his experience.

your grates are supposed be over those holes for every thing! "Infrared".

Does the meat and vegetables have the taste and aroma of barbecue (as if on fire)?

Yes, it definitely does have BBQ taste. Good and easy. But not the charcoal bbq aroma unfortunately.

Any tips for well-well done? I can’t eat red (raw) meat.

@@rickvergara8438 Hello! If you using the same size meat you see here, add about 3-4 more minutes and reduce the heat. That should turn out good. Let me know if it works!

I've had this grill for over a year. I do NOT recommend this grill if you want flavorful steaks (or anything, really). The cooking grates and infrared plates have to be absolutely spotless - otherwise everything you grill ends up tasting burnt.

@@Techsus1 yes you do need to clean grate often. That’s the bad thing. If we do simple beef then ok to go a couple times without cleaning but when it’s savory chicken or meat with lots marinade we do need to clean it right away. Otherwise the left over will burn and not work well.

@@Techsus1 We’ve had it for about 5 years and still working. Just made chicken today! th-cam.com/video/cnfcDKH1E2Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aEU2v4mh3LccMbO5

Hmm.. hope it’s not going to cause health issues using it open? I will contact manufacturer and ask them to make sure.

Let meat rest longer before slicing. That’s why all your juice ran out.

Lol.. it does have salt and pepper. If you zoom in you can see it on the meat 😂. Didn’t record that part
